You don't have to be on the cutting edge. Wait a while and get it cheap. I bought my first version of Poser Pro last year, PP 2010, for only $45 at amazon.com. So I don't have all the latest features. I haven't even had the time to dig into the features everyone considers standard. Well, I did use dynamic cloth on my first render.

I guess if money was not a problem for me, maybe I'd get it, too. *shrug*

...heck, I'm still finding new things to do with Daz 4.5 and haven't even cracked PoserPro 2012 yet.

That's how I feel. Although, DS 4.5 seems to crack all by itself. Besides, I don't think my machine can handle a newer version of DS, nor anything beyond PP 2010.

They need to follow this up with a "Diez De Sensible Mayo sale.

Found out there is internet at home but no way for me to use it. No way for anyone to use it.

    is it wifi internet?
does your tablet see it in it's lil list of wireless connections?>
maybe the password is on the wifi router?

the wifi router my neighbor let's me piggyback on has a sticker with the password on the bottom. she gave me the password, so it's not stealing.

i'd cry if they took it away. i found the current NCIS and CASTLE episodes online. now if i could find Bones episodes online too.

online episodes makes me watch commercials. every time i start weakening towards paying for cable tv service, the commercials remind why not to waste money.

Well, I don't know what cable service you have in your area...I have Comcast Xfinity. I watch NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-O, CSI all in the OnDemand line-up. They have some commercials, but you can fast forward through them. Some networks force you to watch the commercials, they disable the fast forward feature. Fox does that, and The WB. So when I watch Arrow or Beauty and the Beast I have to watch the commercials. I often will mute them or go get a drink or snack quickly. You can rewind, but not fast forward.

For a lot of shows, I'll use the DVR to record them, and watch them a day or two later, and I can fast forward through all the commercials with that. sometimes I just start watching while it's recording, maybe 15 minutes after the show started. That's enough time to skip through the commercials. Plus if the phone rings you can pause it (even live) and then resume, or if you miss something you can rewind it. If you can't understand what they said, you can rewind it, turn on Closed Captions on your TV and play it again.

Plus, with the OnDemand line-up, I've gotten to watch a few shows that I never saw when they were in first run, like Heroes, and Lost. And now and then we'll watch an episode of Dragnet from the 60s.

The improvements to Firefly, the fitting room, and Bullet physics make it worth the while for me. I'm going to call it a birthday present to myself. :)

..well, if I don't end up spending it on dancing girls and beer.. :red: :red: :red:

The special price is good until Jun 30, so I have a while.

hmmm it never occurred to me to dance for poser money. guess it's too late to start now. :)

Awww! I'd tip you a $20 :red: :red:

    lol :) Thanks.

Nice. I have to wait on the baby birdies, and all the other birdies. No money, even though they're on sale.

Overcast and quiet today. Boss is out all next week so I expect the quiet part won't last long. :blank:

Did a 3D inventory last night: I have PPro 2010, PPro 2012, DS3.4 Pro, Bryce 7 Pro, and Carrara 8.1! :bug: :bug: Yeah, no more software purchases! :bug: :bug:

Coffee sounds good.. will go get some!

Errands during lunch today, argh. :ahhh: What a bother! Shopping on the way home, how mundane.

I almost clicked the report button. ack. Hehe, imagine me reporting a post that Richard H. posted. lol I guess I'm used to seeing the "reply" button on the right side on other forums.

Anyways... funny how we can post renders of Victoria in skimpy outfits and lingerie. But the lingerie must be opaque. But I can always post the my more mature renders on my DeviantArt website after I install the underwear. Uh, maybe I should finally download the install manager for Daz Studio 4.5.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I have Carrara 7. Thank you Woolyloach for reminding me.

    ok, gotta run. later.

The lack of nudity because we don't (yet) have content flags so that people can opt out of seeing it (or be opted out, for those under whatever the cut-off age is).

    I wish I had a latte', I really wish I did
I think all my get up and go
Got up and went and hid
I wish I had a latte', one with a double shot
I'd drink it down without a frown
    Even though it's hot! :ahhh:

I wish a had a latte', I really really do
    I'd be so nice
    All sweet and spice
I might buy one for you
I wish I had a latte', I really really do
    I'd bounce around
    Make squealing sounds
    Although that's nothing new! :ahhh:

I had this idea of a hydra head struggling to get a defiant something down its throat, with one of its partners chortling in amusement and doing nothing to help the situation ^^

I sketched this up in about seven to ten minutes. I wanted to get it down onto digital paper quick and fast before it disappeared from my mind like ideas are so prone to doing D:
