    Woke up awfully stiff this morning. Don't know why as we are in the midst of a fairly nice spell of weather.

    ...unless there's a change coming...

    ...nope, 5 day calls for mid 70s to low 80s Mom's day will be a bust, 60s & rain, but that is a week away.

    "Wethir" - very bad spell of weather here. :)

    ETA: Glad your weather is better. Lots of rainfall where you live, isn't there?
    ...usually. Been rather benign this year compared to the last several. Trees are in full leaf already. Looks more like late June than early May.

    A bit ill right now, antibiotics nose hose the whole nine yards wow haven`t had a cold like this since the 20th century :lol:

    Oh geesh, get better soonest! :)

    Kinda not doing so bad, at least is only a cold bug not a injury like you have to put up with or big like Led has to, the worst is being stuck inside, always brings on a bit of cabin fever, and the nose drip makes it hard to use a keyboard, stuck inside with only a tablet for company is getting toward the dark side for me :lol:

    I heard that on MST3K for YEARS before I knew what it was from!

    That entire movie is hilarious to me, only partly owing to the source material.

    ... naw, just one of my favourite songs I was listening to at the time.

    Too much Drinko De Mayo yesterday. Had three Margarita Super Squishies (the pub I was at makes them in and dispenses them from a Slurpie machine). I usually don't do mixed drinks (particularly not ones made with "ta-kill-ya") but it was a warm day (85°) and they just sounded better than ale or beer.

    Feeling a bit like Wooly today.

    ...sipping Ice tea and playing around with 4.5 Pro.

    Non Complaint: Should finally get my Federal tax return this week as it was mailed out today.

    Normally I avoid tequila as well, but it seemed like the Right Thing(tm) at the time.. but I did shots of Patron chased with Corona. Not very wise...! :ahhh: :gulp:

    I feel so-so now, which is actually an improvement. :blank:

    Going to go home, do laundry, shower, go to BED. :blank:

    I see your problem.
    You never water down tequila.
    You just chill the bottle and do shots until legless. :) (beer chasers water it down)
    ETA: And for best results, only Jose' Cuervo Especial Gold.

    oh dear, misread package as pancakes.

    strawberry pancake syrup yumms

    maple trees resting this Spring

    Actually, the weather we've had this season makes for better maple syrup production. And prices will probably be down, too.

    Dragon a Day 2: "Rohan"

    "If I were a dragon without honor like my sister Erin, I would still eat you... But I will keep my promise."

    Meh, well this isn't in full color, but I'm so unbelievably stressed out right now so I'm not exactly in the proper mood to do so ^^;

    So. This is Rohan from an utterly terrible game titled "Kingdom 2 - Shadoan". While the graphics were nice for its day, the gameplay was awful and the story was up there with the most cliche and boring Hollywood movies. Really, it was so boring and predictable and the characters were completely cardboard thin (It didn't help that the hero never spoke except for an occassional scream when he dies :P )

    The villain? An "evil wizard". Pretty much just that.

    Anyway... Rohan is/was a dragon that showed up in the game, in Disc 2. One of the artifacts you need to defeat the wizard is this shield what once belonged to this famous knight, who years ago challenged Rohan with the intention of slaying him. Rohan killed him instead, and kept the shield as a souvenir. Upon entering his cave, Rohan complains about the wizard and his minions scaring away his usual game (I can only imagine what sort of game he is referring to), and then presents you with three shields - two of which are fakes - and says he will spare you from being his dinner if you can choose the one that once belonged to that knight. Apparently he is aware of what you're aiming to do and that you need this shield to do so, but nothing in the game, even in dialogue, tells you HOW he knew this or how he came to that conclusion so quickly.
    Nevertheless, once you pick the right shield, he says the line I quoted above and then teleports you out.

    Amusingly enough, if you come back to his cave after receiving the shield he berates you for doing so and then swallows you whole ^^;

    I liked Rohan a lot, and it's a pity there is virtually no art of him. I know the game was terrible, but he should get some love :)
