For anyone who knew him, I'm sad to say that BWSman has passed away. I just read the notice in the Freebie Challenge, posted by jeeperz. :(

I might need to delay this until the next week's heatwave is over. :/

What are the predicted highs for that week?

...nothing like that here yet. Seems those couple weeks in April where it got into the 80s were about it so far. Forecast calls for it to make the low 80s by next weekend but it was supposed to also do so this weekend. Normal high is 74° For the next four days we will be below that with rain both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Still, it's been a lot drier than we've experienced for the last several years which is more than welcome. Haven't yet had to bail my place out whereas by this time last year I had done so three times already.

For us it went from rain, rain, rain, to 80's and dry, then 80s and humid. It could get to 90 once or twice they said. And that's in Boston. It's usually a little warmer here than up there. Not that it's so far away, only about 40 miles or less. But Boston is on the shore, we're inland a bit.

Yep. I read all five books in the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy. Sometimes confusing can be very funny.
There is an Enchanter called Tim in The Holy Grail, great name for a powerful wizard, LOL.

after hours of browsing, settled on the hospital bed, just in case i need it one day.
too sleepy to start on browsing realdeals for A3 stuff.

contemplating Razor Rider Hotel Corridor, the space pirates in my story need prisoner cells on their ship. is cruel, but is why they be the bad guys, arrr. too bad the badlands to bad space doesn't have the same zing to it. hmm, bandlands, bandspace? naw. i made some names for the space station shopping promenade. the Goo store. the sockatorium. the smoke hut. the table sets from Eastern Terrace will be kewl for the food court. setting up some conflict, or um drama, separate seating for paying customers and the ships come docking desperate for rations. social inequality, not too original i guess. but then, there is only seven plots to pick from - read that somewhere. resisting urge to tvtrope. 'say no to trope'

sleepy, if i close me eyes though, my brain is gonna still be running.

whaddo i still need, unique dragon to weredragon wings. i liked the wings from metal snake thingee, where was it, http://www.daz3d.com/desolation-earth-serpentallica.
and ancient abandoned alien technology left an underground shuttle service, i need a shuttle. Parkside Tube Station iz perfect for the environs. and wings for Kirin. i think, that's it. oh woww, can't believe i made this far. five years ago all i had was James, Jessi, and Kozabura hair

I never bother with TvTropes beyond one single article, and that was the one dedicated to David Xanatos.
    The rest of the site I just think is stupid and pointless. I never really put much stock in popular culture or whatever that site is supposedly documenting ^^;

Only seven plots? Pah. Whoever wrote that must have been a very cynical person ^^

Seven templates to pick from maybe? If there was only seven plots people would have stopped writing books, doing movies, and making games years ago. How one elaborates on those templates and make them unique is what makes things more original (Even if it's done a tad poorly - originality does not always mean superiority ^^)

Templates - yes. The specifics change, of course.

Ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime stories aren't going to be talking about the "hero picking up his mobile phone to dial the {powers-that-be} to tell them the {bad-guys} are about to smash the {location}", are they? X). But they may describe the Lone Hero struggling against Incredible Odds, to bring {something-valuable} to the {lesser-mortals}.

(insert any of hundreds of B-grade movie plots here - lone/group hero/heroine, struggling against virus/giants/plague/flood/pike, makes long journey to guru/top of mountain/home of gods, to bring back fire/antidote/seven heros/hidden artifact... etc etc X).

    another list of seven :)

    seven planets?

scifi tropes - ice planet. my story doesn't have an ice planet. Lexx didn't have an ice planet, so i guess it's okay.
