Gotta get me a hat again. Argh.

Smileys still broken. Daz is lame. Feh.

I'm gonna make a wild-assed guess and say that the reason why the smileys are broken is because the site which is hosting 'em ran out of bandwidth quota for DAZ. Or something. :P That's the usual problem for image hosting sites.

    Edit: except not! Wootz.

The smileys are dead! (cry cry cry)

Olaf would sail to Salt Lake City and kick some Daz butt!

Speaking of Olaf, his next mock epic adventure will be "Olaf and the Giant Chicken". Just because, you know, giant chicken! (smirk)

Well, it hit 94 for a high here today, according to the Weather.com site. And we have a Weather Bureau station right in Taunton. It even has a doppler radar, it's the main one in this area, and Boston Fox 25 shows it all the time.

    Steamy.

It was OK in the car, though. It took a while to really get comfy, and the steering wheel was so hot on the top!

Well, poor Olaf feels berift of his manhood (darn pike) and needs to seek a worthy foe to prove to himself, the bards, and a potential lady friend that he still has The Power. A giant chicken is a suitable foe for Olaf and has the potential to provide feathers and a beak for a costume as well (Olaf does like to dress up sometimes).

I'mm think about various scenarios as the week progresses. I want to get all the plot points down before I dive in! (heh)

The other benefit is that I already have a suitable chicken for Olaf to combat. Cluck!

Plenty toasty, I'd say! (bug eyed emote)

Yeah, when I used to drive the roof would get blazing hot and the seats were on fire, I'd start the A/C and sit in the shade while the darn thing cooled down inside.

10 minutes until I get to bake all the way home! Argh!

Going to stop for a salad and chicken strips tonight, I'm definitely not up for anything hot.

Going to spend some quality time with Shader Mixer tonight - fun with displacement! W00t! Wish me luck.. (worried face)

    Smileys.
There must be a good reason (or at least some reason) why DAZ can't host the smileys for the Forums on their own servers.
    Right?
    Right?

It's lame, lame lame. But Daz has been showing many flashes of lamerhood in the pst several months, so I've stopped being surprised.

Relying on someone else to maintain your business-critical website and store only works when your provider is excellent. Otherwise.. too bad, someone else will come eat your lunch someday.

    It's freaking annoying, it is.

Genesis 1? Brilliant! Genesis 2? What were they thinking?!?

And yes, the entire "we look like a bunch of n00bs that got taken by a slick salesman". Meh.

*grumbles as he nibbles his salad*
