Complaint: have to do laundry today, all my warm-weather clothes are in dire need of a wash.

Non-complaint: cheeseburger pizza and chicken wings on the way! That's lunch, dinner,, breakfast tomorrow, lunch tomorrow, and maybe dinner again! W00t cheeseburger pizza!!! they must have just added it at Pizza Hut!

Surprise: 130GB of 3D content!!! OMG!!! (shock face)

    Did my laundry last night.
Like mowing the yard, doing the laundry is a great thing to have already done. : )

    Heh, yeah.

I'm on load #2, the last load for the day. I'm playing with giant chickens and a T-Rex right now (don't ask),, gives me something to do whilst things wash and dry. Meh.

I also added one extra filter - a Gradient Map restricted to the mouth and tongue set to 65% Soft Light to make it less pale pink. ^^

Maybe add more specular to tongue? Just a thought, to make it slightly more wet.

And Wooly, grab yourself "Find Everything" -- free software, for really good searching of, well, everything.

    And the finished product o3o

I could have let it render an extra hour, but felt this was "good enough".

Cool! Don't want to get too close to that, though. ; )

The biguana in its natural habitat ^_^
...Or one of many. They're quite widespread beasts! They tend to prefer foresty and jungly territory though. Lots of stuff to climb on :3

Gaah! Trying to create a decent looking ocean in DS is maddening!

Trying to use d-fromers on a large plane is driving me crazy! And attempting to put a procedural displacement that looks right creates a nightmareish surface not resembling an ocean!!!

I found a Poser ocean primitive on Rendo, going to grab it next payday.

Back to the giant chicken, I guess....

That will nicely compliment the Rendo one - into the wishlist it goes! Thanks! (big smile)

More chicken foolishness.. different lighting, some minor surface tweaking.

The chicken needs more work than the -Rex does! (frown)

...crikey, just commented about Breaking Waves, hit submit and already beat to the punch again

I feel need a Subspace connection to keep up with this thread sometimes.

Lighting on the second Giant Chicken & T-Rex pic looks much better.

...*sigh* I feel like the kid who has a bad summer cold who has to stay inside and watch all his friends outside playing.

Back when I still painted, at least my canvases never went belly up on me.

...sigh, looks, but no replies to my thread about monitors. Checked just about everywhere online I could think of now and still the two I found at Newegg seem to be the best deal out there.

If I order today I probably would have it before the holiday.

Wish someone with a bit more tech expertise than I have would reply. I know what VGA is but those other formats, I have no clue.

Sorry, I blame my new 4G signal but it's awesome.
Sympathies about your monitor. Been there myself. Sux. : (

Awww {{{{{ KK }}}}}} I hope you can get it all sorted ASAP!

*slides KK a beverage of his choice*

Yeah, the chicken needs surface work, bump maps suck when using UE2, have to move to displacement.,

This darn chicken is driving me crazy! I swear, I'm gonna choke it! (evil smirk)

The bump maps don't smoothly move over to displacement and it ends up looking like a chicken caught in mid-explosion (a cool thing, but not what I was trying for). (blank face)

I have to keep on keeping on.... (blank face)

More Giant Chicken nonsense.. after some cursing and shoving and crying, I got a halfway decent displacement working on the chicken and now it looks less flat. Still not happy with the coloration, I might have to fiddle with the shader yet more.. sigh.
