To be honest, I don't think Gia is suppsoed to substitue as a petite woman. Since petite means
Of a woman: fairly short and of slim build.
    (found on Wiktionary)

And one can not exactly call her slim or short, but I guess that in a sense does depend on the eyes of the beholder :) For me personally, I prefer Gia before V6. BUt what I like the most is to actually have a little bit of both of them mixed into a character (together with others as well :) )

Of course. That's why I made the point to mention that at the end of my comment. Some people are speculating that Gia is supposed to be the slim/petite female for Gen 6, but she's too developed and stocky like V6. The whole point of Stephanie up to even now was to give us a more slender, curvier everyday alternative to female character. Gia here certainly does not serve that role by any means, she's the exact OPPOSITE of Stephanie!

However, if one were to successfully smooth out her muscularity, and apply some thinning G2F Body Morphs, one could probably pull off a relatively passable petite princess. I've done it before with V5 and her Supermodel shape for a while before we got S5. :)

Oh, think I missunderstood you than. Sorry *sheepish smile* kinda thought you thought she was supposed to be that *hangs head*

Though, a petite girl, shouldn't really be curvy either to be honest (in my opinion that is) Slim for me is being less curvy truth to be told. But I guess that is also something that differs between people *smiles*
    Definitely!

In fact, as those around here who know me by now, my main 3D art shtick is stylized/anime, my go-to characters of course, being Aiko & Hiro. Stephanie and David are my "Real World" characters of preference. I've always liked Aiko's build far better than any version of Stephanie, because I find Aiko more slim and petite than even her. As of this current point, Aiko & Hitomi blends are my main female body style. :)

I confess the smoothing difference is too subtle to me. Can't tell 'em apart.

It's definitely a subtle difference. I'm going to try to show a detail here, and I'm trying an animated gif overlaying them. Hopefully makes the comparison easier. :)

Why yet another texture with so much mirrored? IE mirrored moles, freckles, lines etc on both sides of the texture. And those eye brows are ridiculous. I am quite certain the left one is even longer than the right one and extra blurred. Mirrored breasts, butt cheeks, ocular areas etc. Is it that hard to use 2 different non-crooked nipples on textures? Sorry to sound harsh, but I am sure I am not the only one disappointed by this.

DAZ really needs to kidnap Danie, marforno and Rhiannon (I think?) and force them to create another one of their classic character / outfit / props&poses; sets based on Gia.... :D

I finally got around to testing Gia 6 last night. I said earlier in this thread that I thought her arms and shoulders were a little undersized for a "warrior" woman like a MMA fighter. But I used the Genesis 2 morphs and played around with forearm, upper arm, and shoulder size. I was just messing around, so I didn't come up with any real numbers, but at around 35% on those morphs I got a shape I quite liked, now this was attempting a look for an average MMA fighter, not going for She-Hulk. I didn't have more than a few minutes, so I didn't set up any final renders, but maybe I'll get around to that in a week or so. Overall, I like her quite a bit. I do wonder though, how many characters we will see using that UV map. I'm not wildly optimistic about that, I'll have to see how she looks with some other mapping when I get a few minutes.
