RiverSoft Art and Sickleyield are proud to present the RSSY Clothing Converter from Genesis 2 Female to Genesis 8 Female! Finally, use your Genesis 2 Female clothing with your Genesis 8 Female characters! Automatically convert your entire wardrobe of clothes, including high-heels, using the new RSSY Clothing Converter script! The RSSY Clothing Converter from Genesis 2 Female to Genesis 8 Female has been carefully crafted to handle the different rigging and shapes between Genesis 2 Female and Genesis 8 Female, even adding special rigs for loincloths (including dresses like Nyx!), capes and a special dress rig that adds pose bones to avoid that "sticking to the legs" effect.
The Clothing Converter script provides batch execution for automatically converting your Genesis 2 Female clothing to Genesis 8 Female clothing in your Library. Easily select the wardrobe items in your Library, select an output directory and execute the script. Even better, icons and categories are copied from your Genesis 2 Female clothing to the new Genesis 8 Female clothing items.
Your new Genesis 8 Female wardrobe is completely Smart Content aware! They will show up when you select a Genesis 8 Female. Plus, all materials shown in Smart Content for your Genesis 2 Female item will show for your converted Genesis 8 Female item. Converted clothing, instead of using Auto-Fit, produces vastly less distorted results, especially with high-heels!
The Clothing Converter script does not work with accessories or wearables (e.g., outfits). High-heeled shoes may require a manual step during conversion if the original shoes do not include a foot pose.
The script may not be able to convert all clothing items without issues. Converted items may exhibit poke through. Usually, this can be fixed by adding a smoothing modifier or a push modifier.

Great to hear! I am excited about this one. After using the G3 to G8 converters, I realized I wanted to convert everything in my library.
I begged Sickleyield to figure out a way to convert G2F to G8F, even though she had said previously there wasn't a way to do it. I told her I didn't care how it was done or how many steps it took. If she could figure out a way to do it ONCE, I would figure out a way to automate it. After a bunch of experiments and back and forth, she figured it out! 
She is amazing!
It was a long, tough road, but we finally got it. You are going to love it. Quite honestly, the ability to use G2F high-heels with G8F alone makes this product awesome... adding everything else is a bonus!
I can't wait! I have so many things I picked up in the sales for G2F that I'm using on older characters but it will be great to use them without autofit on G8F.
Yeah, it makes the sales on older items very attractive. I know I have been looking at G2 clothes products in a whole new way!

This is not a perfect product. The rigging and shape are different between G2F and G8F. Lining everything up perfectly between the two for all the different clothing items was not possible. There is a reason that we create the whole ton of morphs listed above on converted clothes... so that you can tweak the result on your G8 Female. But it works, and the difference between Auto-Fit and this is startling sometimes, especially with high-heels. And having this massive new wardrobe for your G8F is really, really fun!
[Edit] And sometimes you will want to change the conformer picked for a clothing item (and reconvert) because the original match doesn't work right for the item.

this is amazing! I am looking forward to getting this product after finally having success with the g3 to g8 converter. One question about shoes conversion, how does it handle shoes that load together as a pair as opposed to shoes that you can load individually? that was an issue I had with the first converter if you recall.
I am not sure what you mean by that (sorry, things start to blur
). I have converted shoes that are a pair and that are individual.
This must have taken a lot of work to create and I ,for one, really appreciate it. I won't mind taking the extra step or two now and then to get the right fit. :-)

that's ok, I think its just that outfit I have trouble converting the shoes on if you see in the other g3 to g8 converter thread I posted a very successful conversion using both the clothing converter and 3DL to iray converter. Turned out great!
That's good to hear. I think you might be talking about it being recognized as footwear instead of added. And that can definitely happen because of bad metadata. Using the Force Convert Footwear should fix it.

Er... just two questions 1 - I'm assuming this was so complex that there won't be an inverse G8F to G2F converter, but can we hope for at least a G2f to G3Fversion? The shoe conversion alone makes this worth buying. 2. Can we expect this to come before or after the G8F to G3Fconverter?

No, it does not work in reverse with this product. We will have to see what we can do in the future.
That is too bad, backward compatibility to use new content with older characters is seriously lacking in this industry.
We are considering it. We will probably do one backwards conversion product to see if there is a market.
You would defiently have my sale if you do. especially if you make backwards conversion scripts for characters far back as genesis2 I can convert genesis 8 to gensis3 prettty easy but converting genesis 8 to genesis or genesis 2 characters requires a whole lot work to make things work. I'm a huge fan of your products so I will be keeping my eye peeled for it for sure.
