I spotted this image by DzFire in the Hexagon Discussion Gallery thread showcasing his new vehicle on the Ambush Alley Desert Road. Very cool truck. Full sized image here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/6884/P238/

My previous post is dated Mar 22. It's like a couple months just flew by.

I did spot this very cool image by karibousboutique in the DAZ Main gallery, a very strong female warrior . I really like the color tones and composition. As I read through the description which efficiently listed all the content credits I noticed Karibou used Rocky Flats for the environment.

Nicely done Kari, definitely worth having a look at it full sized in the gallery http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/28212/

The Dungeon Entrance is a nice set, which I have used a few times: http://fav.me/d7csw2p and http://fav.me/d7bn7vu being just two :)

Thank you Totte and Simon for posting the images and links. I always like checking out what's being done. Well done. I've got something in the works that'll fit nicely for that 6 wheel armored carrier coming soon.

Unfortunately yes, DAZ Studio 4.6+ and upward only. In the past, I would create all my environments in Poser first, and then import into DAZStudio to make the specific materials and light sets and cameras for it. And then release a Poser version and a separate DS version for each product. A lot of work but that system worked well for a long time.

What happened was when I upgraded to windows8, my Poser 8 stopped working, couldn't get any of the content libraries to load, nothing. Poser 6 would load but became totally unstable and kept crashing on me. It was disappointing. So I tried to make a few things in DAZ Studio 4, and surprise, it was a breeze to work with. Especially for environments and props and poses.

looks like the last set of yours i can use is the 1950's motel

its weird for years 90% of my content was purchased here at Daz, with everything here switching to Studio only products less than 1% of my purchases are here

I recently used the High Cliff Crossing here:

(the character is Brienne of Tarth, from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones)

Thanks Scott, Brienne's one of the few more honorable characters on GoT and you did a good job showing her strength.

I've got a couple more Poser sets coming, just need to pick up a win7 computer to salvage them from a harddrive.

Jabba posted this image to the Main DAZ gallery and in the commercial thread for Scifi Training Room. I have to say, as I'm building something I think of possible uses for a set beyond the obvious or intended given my mix and match kit bashing sensibilities, but this was a cool surprise, sort of a late 70's psychedelic discotheque vibe happening. It is very creative! See it full size here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/44163/ or here: http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/34086

I'm doing a little surfing on Deviant Art, checking out the artistic offerings, and notice a pic that has some fairly realistic water in it, and looks kinda familiar for some reason. So I read the description, and find an explanation by Erik-NL of his photoshop techniques to bring out the intensity of the textures using my BreakingWaves prop set. Nicely done, and if you look carefully you can just make out the periscope on the left and the large submarine coming up below the waves to save the swimmer. Check it out full size: http://www.deviantart.com/#/art/Periscope-Up-410302440?hf=1

Been a while since I last posted, summer does that, just not at the computer as much when the sun's out. Saw a few interesting images, using some FirstBastion environments. First off, DzFire's new Baja Bug has an apocalyptic addon called BadBug and is causing mayhem in the Ambush Alley Desert Road and Gully environment. http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/bad-bug

Second, it was cool to see Miss Rendo entry in the main DAZ gallery here by MBusch, using the Neighbour's Pools as the base. Great looking Brazillian bathingsuit and character. Water looks great too.

    http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/35715/

And this was a very artistic image in the Main DAZ gallery by jypsie, and I can hardly claim much beyond the telephone pole from Rural Crossroads, which I don't think I've seen rendered that close up, ever, even when I had it in testing. The image for some reason reminds for the minimalist posters very popular back in the seventies. Great juxtapose of ideas.

I do enjoy finding these images. Keep 'em coming. Thanks.

Totte posted a screen snap in the discussion thread for DS Creative magazine, an online publication that showcases art done in DAZ Studio, which just happens to have a very nice rendered Dragon titled "Museum" by Markus Ba, The museum used in the image is my Gallerie Bastion Spacious Interior prop set. Always fun to spot things like this.

Now heres a juxtaposition of pop culture icons you wouldn't expect, ET and herbie together in Ambush Alley, I like it. Click the link for the full image in the thread. It says its a : "Daz Studio render via LDP-R " but I don't recognize that reference.

The LDP-R is Light Dome Pro-R (no idea what the -R is for!)

I was digging deep into the forums looking for some old information and saw this image that i totally forgot about but recognized the instant I saw it. It's called the BackYard Horse Show by Warmblood, and it really is a well concieved artistic concept of a little girl's dream set in the Neighbour's Yard. It was originally posted in 2013 in the thread here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/18493/P80 Nicely done.

I usually put it on in early spring, March or April, but I just didn't have time this year to keep an eye on it, so it didn't happen. I guess I could put one on if there's some interest in it?

Just saw this Day at the Mall promo in new realeses. Gallerie Bastion Spacious Interior https://www.daz3d.com/spacious-interior-bundle now doubles for a Suburban Mall. It has proved to be a very versatile set in the hands of you talented artists. Surprising what a little bit of clutter and shelves in the background can do.
