Our pizza shop has been around since hte late 70's and only has 2 locations. They are the most popular places in town even better known than the regular chain pizza joints. ie. Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Jones.. On a average Friday night they employ 30+ people. 12 double stacked ovens and 15,000 pizza's are made. They did a news cast with him the one time. Every weekend they sell upwards to 40,000 pizza's. I'd say that's pretty damn good for a local joint

I can't buy a couple slices rather than a whole pizza! Extremely cost inefficient!

Can't eat a whole pizza by myself anyway and not into the "cold pizza brekkie" anymore.

That's what a toaster oven is for! Works great for me! She doesn't eat all of hers, so I have what she leaves as a lunch. I wrap it in aluminum foil, and then when I'm ready, take it out and put it in the toaster. Actually, I put it in the microwave for maybe 10 or 12 seconds, to get it started warming. The toaster oven ensures it doesn't have soggy crust and also makes the cheese melty again. (microwave is not good for making melty cheese - it seems to separate the cheese and the oils come out)

...I'm with you there. Kind of blessed as I have several small independent pizza joints not far away from where I live. Even the best frozen pizzas still don't match the quality of a properly hand made one. Far superior to those made on an industrial assembly line in a refrigerated plant.

The place I usually go to is great, they make and hand toss their crust, they literally load my slices with this excellent fennel and Italian hand seasoned sausage for only 25¢ more and their slices are generous in size. If I get there before closing they'll give me an extra slice at no charge. Great place.

Oh, and the chain places, ugh I avoid them at all costs. What they call pizza sometimes is a gross misnomer.

Well, I've had a lot of pizzas from local places that don't please me as much as this does.

And I'll say no more on the subject.

Morning. City skyline bowed against a cold wind and storm tossed sky outside my window. First cool day for a while :)

Make sure you clear the bed from all the bugs so they don't bite

    tucking in with monkey? :)

are you still playing with the luxus?
your render with the sewer looked really nice. shiny water and a manbabe.

mine come out crappy. wait days and days and then realize a light needs adjusting.

I really hate when that happens. I've had 20+ hour renders that needed to be a bit brighter or the angle was just a hair off. Really ticks me off, especially when it's a promo render.

I have not had bugs in my bed for a long time now. But I do need to clear off my bed so there will be room for me in it. And Monkey too.

but Monkey is small so he does not need much room on the bed.

I have dreams that make me think there are bugs in the bed. I'm on meds for night terrors. I have dreams of family being torn apart in front of me or past experiences because of my PTSD

Consuming chocolate in any form that late at night would keep me up all night. I can't handle the caffeine.

F1 racing here today. They made a big deal about quieter race cars this year but there is a mob of military aircraft flying around making a huge noise

ah, i missed the artist convention in Baltimore because I got sick with a cold. The next convention that I could go to is in Portland, Oregon during Memorial day weekend. Most hotels charge $190 - $230 a night in the downtown area. Hopefully the rooms won't be all booked up before I get a job.

    ...don't have one.

For less than the price of a DiGorno I can get 2 really generous slices with my toppings I want at the parlour down the street and that fills me up. To do the separate sausage and cheese pizza trick costs about as much as a 10" from this place. Again as it is freshly made with a hand tossed crust, a lot better than frozen.

The issue of warming pizza in an MW is not just the cheese, but it makes the crust limp and soggy.

...hmmm I don't recall any conventions here in Portland that weekend. There is the World Horror Con on May 8 - 11th, and Magic the Gathering Grand Prix gaming convention the same weekend but that is about all for the month of May.

I agree with Jaderail. When you can only have pizza once a year, it doesn't have to be gourmet with exotic spices. It's just GOOD.

The artist convention is called Furlandia http://www.furlandia.org Furlandia is not well know like other art conventions like Anthrocon in Pittsburgh. I want to see all the different art styles on display and art in the auctions.

That's the nature of search on the web. Put Wings 3d rather than just wings. That should help.
