Morning. Looks like it stopped raining, was good while it lasted but not a sign of water in the big bright blue sky outside my window :)

    iz sunday outside. :)

went rummaging in the rdna z. they change it up so often. the banquet table isn't there any more.

saw a gallery image with prop credits made me look for a vendor named awful soul.

had a dream last night i was designing a M6 character, his name was Sir Loins.

reheating some pasta for lunch. don't feel like getting up yet. cozy in the blankets. haz to work up some energy to check lotto numbers.

    what's everybody doing today? :cheese:

Was talked into a lunch today but already wishing it was over, don't want to even think about taking more work on for a while. Need to get some digital fire happening so might have to read the TFD docs to see what all the settings mean  Right now glued to a comfy chair in our garden drinking tea and watching a mob of Mynah's squabble over earth scratching rights :)

I am wanting to take a nap but I do not want to take a nap. To Nap or Not to Nap that is the question.

...not comforting, the second (and larger) one near the area in a very short time.

7.6 where I am could result in serious damage to many structures. We have a lot of old restored brick buildings from the late 19th early 20th century in our city centre, particularly in what is known as "Old Town". and along the tram line which runs near the waterfront. A number of buildings in town have a red sign with a large "U" on them meaning they are seismically "unsafe". Parts of the city were built on a clay/silt base which will effectively turn to "jello" in an earthquake. Construction crews working on The Roberston Tunnel for the west side light rail ran into numerous issues dealing with soft wet clay while boring the tunnels, don't want to be on a train in there when a big quake hits.

We also have two bridges that are over 100 years old, one of which not only carries the Amtrak main line to Southern Oregon and California on the lower deck, but all four of our light rail lines on it's upper deck. Bridge maintenance has been an ongoing issue here.

Bridge maintenance seems to be an ongoing issue all over this country. The issue is that the politicians don't want to get taxes to pay to fix them. That's what our taxes are supposed to be doing. There are a lot of old bridges in this country that are officially considered unsafe. They just don't have the money to fix them. It's a bit scary...hopefully I won't remember it when I may have to go over one of the old bridges.

Can DS 2 be run at same time with DS3?

...yes I had 2.3, 3.1 and 4.0 all on my notebook at one time and they all worked without an issue (well, besides the memory limits of 32 bit).

...hoping I'm not in downtown when a quake hits. With all the brick facades we have, (both old and new) it would be like being caught in a rainstorm of hard hurty objects. Hopefully the newer bridges might survive, if not, one would be trapped on whatever side of the river he or she would be on at the time.

this is just my lonesome opinion,

but when someone calls there thing a 'DEMO REEL' made from obviously aniblocks, i mean really, demo reel?

isn't a demo reel to show the talent of the person demo-ing?

not that there's anything wrong with trolls or aniblocks, but calling it your 'demo reel'?

Ouch! Waiting that long for a render, and then not being happy with it? Needless to say, I wouldn't be playing with IDL again either.

I think that was Aery Soul, then something else, now something else again. Keeps changing the name up. Over at RDNA I think. Now it's Aeon Soul, just checked.

yes know it was aery soul not aivery sole, being witty
    alfaseed the other one
they keep pulling their products and reinventing themselves
so awful soul sounded like a possible moniker they used too.

No I spend the day with my mum tomorrow. I was not on the computer, as I went out to eat with a friend.
