...the way this is heading, have to change the old metaphorical question to "how many hyperthreading cores can fit on the head of a pin?"

AT least 1526, the number of cores in the AMD FirePro graphics card, on a 384 bit bus for 3.5 teraflops, that's a lot of angels :)

New Core i7 8 core unlocked processor on the way
and an 18 core Xeon 14 nm tech wow

Meanwhile my 12 core Xeon hasn't arrived yet :)

...nuts, I need those lotto numbers to come through for that.

The die shrink to 14nm is almost halving the size of the silicon wafers, intel are on the way to 5 nm wafers, roughly 4 times the amount of transistors compared to the 22 nm in todays packages. How do they get the laser aperture so small?

Is it linear? I would have though a linear reduction would give an approximately square increase - 16 times.

    My tummy hurts

gassy? sometimes a good long belch helps.
if it's cramps, motrin and a warm heating pad is the recommends.

It was gassy. Not expecting cramps for another week or so.

Just my opinion, I guess, but I think Nerd3D's Spray Tool, Splash Tool and Waterfall Tool look better, and they can be animated.

...in what was known as the old industrial "rust belt", that might have been a reality.

Of course with the Goop Shaders you could create a chocolate waterfall.

Yesterday we had a high of 61, today we had a high of 46. And it's going downhill from there, too.
