    Post work involved can be a large part of the answer too. To this day I'm almost certain that's why I could never re-create the promo for the MilDragon2 'Drago' armor set. http://www.daz3d.com/drago-for-millennium-dragon

    That lighting is so dramatic yet so confusing!

    I keep thinking of quitting 3d, but maybe after my pc membership expires.

    ...if it is your main creative outlet, I wouldn't do that.

    I think my membership expires in 2016 so I will keep it up until then,How does a Platinum Club membership have anything to do with interest in 3D or not? The rest of the Forums are still free and most content is not PC items in the first place. I'm Baffled with the logic here.

    It made sense in my head then. I am not saying I am quitting when my membership expires, but saying that since I have the membership maybe I can still stay around for the monthly freebies and stuff.

    snow, snow?! 20foxtrots noooo

    if it only 2 inches, not so bad.

    The snapshot referring to "Snow Shower" made me wonder whether Snowbug might have a 'Snow Bath' as well... :)

    I've been playing the "Google Translate" game. I took a famous poem and ran it through several languages (I lost count) and then back into English.

    I hereby dub the result:

    Climate Change Or Lucky Hat
    "Must summer day?
    You are calm and more comfortable.
    Wind shake beautiful flowers in May
    Lease is too short.
    Eye of heaven displayed, and sometimes also fire
    And, in many cases, the color of his money will be grayed out.
    From fair sometimes per kilometer
    I stop climate change or lucky hat.
    However, does not end the eternal summer you."

    OK, could you post the original, or at least the title and author?

    I just checked Weather.com and it says snow showers for later this evening, tonight, and tomorrow morning, but they're only predicting 1 to 2 inches of snow. I can live with that.

    Temps are in the 30s today. I wish it would get up over 50F and stay there.

    I could just barely recognise:

    Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
    Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
    Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
    And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
    Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
    And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
    And every fair from fair sometime declines,
    By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
    But thy eternal summer shall not fade
    Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
    Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
    When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st;
    So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
    So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

    ...I'd give that a big "ugh". this is becoming ridiculous.

    Because the Great lakes are so heavily frozen over, spring in that region will be very late. In Chicago they were actually rather worried that there would still be ice on the Chicago River on St. Pat's day which would have prevented the traditional dying the river green.

    After a lovely 68°here yesterday, back to more "normal" stuff for the next week or two, 50s and rain.

    Oh, my God! It's not something I think about every day...or week. But I am familiar with it, and now I see it! No wonder there are so many wars...translation is the pits! It's amazing we ever understand one another!

    hehe yes plugged into the cigarette lighter usually but I don't have the right kind of cable in my pocket, or any kind of cable come to think of it. Haven't had to do the geek packrat thing for a while now :)

    I'm used to 3D FX like turbulent water or even a real heavy smokey asplosion taking longer than a few minutes a frame to calculate but Oscar Mike Golf 3 hours to render an image?
