Always get so angry whenever that game's brought up though, brain's even trained itself to immediately spot its name out in the middle of a huge field of text FIRST out of anything else... bah. Eye just darts to wherever it's mentioned first out of anything. Was trying to look up some info on wikipedia about a fictional metal at one point, and before I even had a third of the opening finished I already zapped to "Oh hai this game used it durr hurr" and I closed the tab. Much later I ended up getting the info out of Age of Mythology's text files and a mod for Civilization IV which had a page-and-a-half of info on the mineral and it's origins in myth and history without delving into fantasy stuff (Sans the Greek/Roman mythological parts of it) so...
Out of all my flaws and shortcomings, my absolute seething hatred for that game and its very name is perhaps the worst of 'em. One I'm not proud of and can't figure out why it is that way. Just the name is enough to bring my mood down for the day, so I just avoid anythign that might end up bringing it up. Just the name - all it takes is the name being brought up, and that's it. Don't even need to see pictures or start discussing it to any extent. Just, the name. That's all it takes for my mood to darken. ......
Yeah, I hate my mind - such an incredibally worthless waste of space I am if this is one of the #1 things that infuriates me.
History though for me it went something like this:
*Loved the series for years
*Heard rumors about V coming soon
*Saw it announced. Was excited and watched trailer
*Felt shock, horror, dread... Followed shortly by anger.
*Anger snowballed from there and never once got better.
As for my cat... Yeah, I'm really worried about her. I'd be even more worried actually, but she's disappeared like this before many times, so I'm not beside myself with worry or anything - yet. It happens fairly often, but I still get all nervous regardless.
I hope your cat comes back soon, Rezca! And I hope you do, too! I won't talk about that game. I don't even know what game it is. I've never gotten involved in those games...don't know one from the other.

Honestly I just feel so stupid in hindsight when I feel I have to say "Please don't talk about ____" on a public forum just because I personally can't tolerate something. I'm one person out of many - I don't see why anyone should do anything on my behalf. If I was talking with a friend or two privately in a Skype Conversation... That's one thing. But here? =/
Yeah... I've already lost one cat (Hit by a car >_> ) and I don't want to lose a second... I always fear for the worst when she doesn't come back in the evening when I call her, but more often than not she does eventually. Only time she was gone for more than two days was when she accidentally got locked inside the tool shed, and we didn't find out until one of the guys was walking past and saw her in the window. She couldn't get out, and I couldn't get in because the door is always locked unless someone is getting something out of it.
Well, I hope it ends well for the cat this time, too! :-)

I'm dreading having to sleep with a CPAP machine cause of sleep apnea. They are suppose to be out sometime next week to show me how to use it. Until then gotta suffer with the wife waking me up every 20 minutes or so cause I quit breathing

In less severe/important news, I found my cat :)
Was starting to head to the store and as I was leaving I heard her meowing and turned around and there she was. Brought her into the house before leaving, and she was meowing up a storm ^^

Progress on Robo-Raptor has been made :)
After spending close to two hours flailing at my keyboard and hoping for some results, I finally got the tail section worked out more. Maybe later I'll try adding stuff like plating and maybe some wires, but for now... This will do. Besides, I need to have it animatable and I don't know if I could work in a lot of little details like that and still be able to animate it later.
