Minor "ick" warning ahead. Following photos contain bugs D:
(Also ' eeeeek!' at that photo of the fallen tree above >< Much sorries to whomever owns that house D: Hope no one got hurt!!)

There's some reaally big weeds in my little back "yard". Can't really do anything about them right now, but I was looking at them and thinking about just how large a few of them were (Size over quantity? :) ) when I saw something on one of them... A lot of somethings. At first I thought it was just part of the weed you know, the prickly spines that some of these garden vegetations have? But when I looked closer I saw what it really was - a whole lot of bugs o_o

These were the only two pictures that came out not-blurry. It was hard to hold my camera very still and all that >_< Didn't bring my tripod home with me...

    hehe a bugfarm

I believe Wendy is concerned about Jaderail. He's been M.I.A. for a while now.

    As am I.

Had some issues with instability on a Windows Vista install that hadn't missed a beat for five years, maybe bad sectors on the system disk (?) so rain CHKDSK over and over on it until it slowed right down the last three go arounds and now it boots real quick. Not used to Windows so don't know whether that's good or bad for sure but seems to be good, hopefully.

Needing to clean out the network cache on that machine to reset network shares. Not sure whether I can trash and make a new what Windows calls a "Network Connection", where the parameters for the IP addy, DNS lookup and so on go, does anyone know? Or should I try to reset the network config using ipconfig from a shell? Google fu returns squillions of results for Vista networking, most of which are obviously bad advice.

Well, I'm guess I'm the odd guy out...again. During one storm that was particularly windy last year, we lost power...but cable, Internet and phone were still OK. I do have Comcast for all three. Of course, my cordless phones won't work in an outage...the base is run on electricity. But we still have two wired phones, and our cell phones.

oy, my cheap little office dictionary doesn't have thane in it. i proof read my first chapter and only made one lil change to it. me thinks that means it's done. done!

12 more chapter to proof read. i'm taking vacation week after next to wrap up this baby with gianni as my new cover boy. :)

i added flocks of faerie girls to the first paragraph, so now i have an excuse to render a flock of Aikos.

when i was on the train home from my last otk party, i wrote down lots of notes of my experience; so i can add some realism details to gratuitous scenes.
