Yea!! Cooler weather and some Rain even. Listen to me, just over a week ago I was hiding from clouds, now I'm happy to see them. That last big bit of nasty was followed with some very warm dry air and it is just this side of uncomfy. I really looking forward to some comfy weather. Spring should feel like spring, not early summer.

...at least the flooding issue I was dealing with is fixed.

Replaced the entire threshold and lower door frame along with redoing the weather stripping and adding a rubber dam to the bottom of the door Also fixed a gutter/downspout issue that apparently was contributing to all the water seeping through the ground and into the stairwell,

Just had several heavy rainstorms pass through over the last week or so. No water on the floor and the landing didn't flood. Still going to have a small roof or awning put up over the stairwell to divert even more rain away.

...Corel is blowing out Painter X3 for 199$. (normally 429$). Upgrade is priced at 99$.

    Ends at midnight tonight, PDT

Guess version X4 is about to be released.

Been wanting this application for a long time. Looks like I'll have to wait for the next version to run its course.

My pillow is calling for me, it is calling like a siren calls out for a sailor. It is enticing me to put my head on it.

I screwed up my mum's day celebration and I am trying to figure out how to fix it. I ordered a custom cake and changed my mind too late. It is too late to cancel it.

...drinking a bottle of Coca Cola made in Mexico (uses pure cane sugar instead of that High Fructose Corn Syrup rubbish) in the evening is not a good idea either.

There's a Coke plant a few blocks away from here I live that makes the post mix for use in fountain service systems and everyday see a big tanker truck of HFCS pull in.

...Scot's Whiskey is expensive (especially single malt, never touch the cheap blended stuff) but indeed very good if you can afford it. Piña Colada's sound much more affordable (and likewise refreshing) .

...then again, all I can afford these days is a pint of cheap industrial swill beer at best (and that's only during happy hour when it's 1$ - party on....).

You still getting an aches & pains index? They replaced that here with the allergy index over a month ago. Trading one discomfort for another, but oft times have to deal with both.

Morning. City tower and rooftop and paving soft lit and gleaming under a slate grey sky outside my window after hours of gentle but persistent rain overnight. No leaks in our roof yay, the roofing guy who fixed our leaking skylight got paid more in three hours than I did in thirty six this week but looks like he earned it
