the big clock at dayjob shows greenwich time, not Connecticut.

greenwich = ground zero for the vortexes of time space continuum.

Cold tonight but a stiff breeze saw off the clouds and there are a few pale stars in an inky black sky tonight :)

do yoo haz the dippers over yonder? the big one and the leetl one?

They get to see the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds! Actual irregular galaxies close enough to us to see them with the naked eye. And they don't have Cygnus (or do they?), but they have the Southern Cross.

    Complaint:

I hate updating video drivers. I hate it. Especially if I don't see a reason to do it.I fond it often more trouble than it's worth.

My Nvidia Geforce GT635m is working wonders now using drivers 314.22. It's stable as a rock and everything I have runs perfectly...but I'm going to have to update eventually right? Every time I go to the Nvidia official site and look at the new drivers I lee so many forum posts on crashes and issues and everything.

I wish video drivers were a thing of the past. >_<</p>

The late May update was a disaster for me. I rolled back to 335.23 from March. 311.22 might have the nvinit bug, but there are workarounds.

I am still using the 314 drivers too for my Nvidia Geforce 630.

Quite happy with 335.23 as well (^_^)... sounds like I'll skip this next update until the bugs get smoothed out.

I'm back and cooling down. I asked the Power Co. what caused the outage...they said 2 snakes had caused a short. 8-/

:gulp: Whoa! Glad that you're cooled down.

Fiancee and I did a bit of outdoor work - I swept part of the breezeway and he spread some mulch. I would have done more sweeping but I managed to start a blister on my thumb from the gap between the foam cover and the plastic cap and now I can't grip the broom.

Eewwww...it looks like he started to melt and stick to the works! Poor thing.

Here we are in the 21st century and we're still having trouble with snakes and birds (fouling up jet engines).

...just got back home after being out of town for the weekend and immediately the site has to go flaky giving me "cannot process your request" errors when trying to sign in. Par for the course I guess.

    Snakes On A Substation.

    Heat & Humidity.

    Nixon flashbacks.

    Winter in Melbourne.

    Updating Video Drivers.

...sounds like it's been a busy weekend.

oddly enough, Daz or the browser logged me out the store and emptied my shopping cart.

edit: nevermind, the store is acting up again. Maybe I should followw chohole's advice and clear the cookies and cache

Had a few hours of sun to enjoy before some dark storm clouds started to roll over and turn today grey again :)

In the far north around half of the Ursa constellation is visible for a couple of hours on the horizon, upside down  But we don't see the Pole Star, has our own Southern Cross to guide the way home  And of course the Aurora Australis :)
