What's that blue stuff on the tail. From previous images, I thought it was some kind of attack from the big dragon, but it's still there.

    Dana

    It's suppose to be ice.

Was I right, is the ice a result of the attack by the other dragon? I guess that makes navigation difficult, a big block of ice on the tail.

    Dana

    Yep
Are they out of danger yet? Or is there more to the current story? Been enjoying it muchly! :)

there must be soccer playing somewhere, lots of excited hollering from neighbors.

....yeah, Columbia just defeated Greece 3 - 0

Uruguay and Costa Rica are up next in about two hours.

Croatia lost to Brazil in the opener on Thursday 1 - 3 (kind of expected that since effectively we were playing on their "home pitch").

What was the deal with the Dutch beating Spain? Not a fan of soccer, but that just seems wrong, somehow. 8-/

Yes Frank, but in terms of alcohol percent/ounce, we're getting gypped here. :)

So true! We need a good German beer.

...just came back from a German pub where I met with a couple of my primary networking people. Forgot just how good German beer really is compared to even our local craft brews. For one, they have the "Purity Law", second, many of the breweries there have been making beer for centuries, not just the last three decades. Very relaxing place that doesn't have the "drink it fast" atmosphere and serves an "honest" glass of bier (none of those "cheater pints" with a half or more inch of glass in the bottom as they serve it in traditional .3, .5, or full litre sizes).

The interesting thing, they charge about the same for good German imports (and I'm not talking Becks or St Pauli Girl) as the original pub which occupied the space they moved into did for "cheater" pints of local craft brews.

...keep in mind, in London the average price for a pint in a pub there is about 8 - 10USD.

    i luv the hocker-pshure

...Hacker-Pshorr, yes they have that along with a number of imports you don't usually see. All served on draught, and all in appropriate glassware for the specific type of bier. basically they do it right.

where is this place? must make a pilgrimage

...in Portland (OR) about 6 blocks from my place.

    pint = happiness

...that's why I am so glad this place opened up. Finally decent quality bier (brewed according to the five centuries old Reinheitsgebot or "Purity Law") for not much more than a pint of local craft brew.

Yeah a bit more costly but way cheaper than the price of a ticket to Munich, Hamburg, or Berlin.

Everything there is German including the wines, liqueurs, and food menu.

That's the usual setup. That seems to be a long time to run a cable. Was it your bill, or are you just a renter? Just curious.

    Dana

Neither. I'm an unemployed college graduate living with my parents. I don't actually rent the room. :D

On the bright side, I don't need to pay any bills except for the student loans.

edit: I also pay the monthly Daz Platinum club membership.

Give them hugs then for the cool. Tomorrow is Fathers' Day, my eighth one since mine passed away. My fourth year since my Mom went into a nursing home for senile dementia. I still hold her hand and tell her I love her and give her hugs. Sometimes she knows me, sometimes not.
    But I know her.

Everyone whose parents are living, never miss an opportunity to tell your parents that you love them. Opportunities can run out.

Family is family even when some members may no longer know it. My grand father went down hill fast, there were times it seemed he really didn't know he was my grand father. And various times he who was like a father figure to me, seemed almost like my child. It's very hard to take in, thats for sure.

Hibernating didn't work out, guess I'll have to turn to virtual reality to get some weather happening. Is starnge weather here, usually there is a strong south wind in June but is quite calm instead for here, the bay is near fllat I think they call it becalmed so apart from navigation problems the fog is causing small-sailed boats are going nowhere fast - feeling a bit robbed altho I guess you should be careful what you wish for, big storms can blow up from nowhere
