    how high is your ceiling?

About eight foot up. Except where the ceiling tile is falling, then it's at about six foot or so.

    Fried chicken!

It's early and I'm confused. Is the fried chicken coming from the falling ceiling? Is Chicken Little fried?

The sky is falling and I blame fried chicken! :ahhh:

Is that why my map won't stick to the concrete bricks that make up the walls to my office?

I'm pretty sure fried chicken would prevent anything sticking that wasn't more fried chicken.. :bug:

I used duct tape except every morning one corner of the map has come off the wall... It feels wrong to deal with maps everyday and NOT have one or two on the wall but it's looking like that's what it's going to be for the near future... Stupid brick walls

    It's getting very dark outside
It makes me want to run and hide
Going home will be a pain
If I get soaked with pouring rain
But even if the skies were clear
I'd still be mad, I'm low on beer
If it's pouring I'm sad to say
The beer shop is three blocks away
So in the cold and wet I'd shiver
Because the darn place won't deliver! :bug: :gulp:

rpgish grounds and building so far. :) would luv to get silo, some day.

trying hard to use only quads, but don't want to leave n-gons either.
maybe i should cut full rectangles for the windows openings and then separately model the windows?
there's no reason to subdivision a building?

    Only if it's a hobbit building ;-)

    Centimetres = 2.54 * inches (or roughly two-and-a-half times), so if you're 72", then that's 72 + 72 + 36 = 180cm (^_^)h.

    More complaints!

    - Porting a micro RTOS to this new processor is giving me indigestion
    - AND, the darn thing takes an hour to build every time there's a change
    - AND TI had a bug that I had to patch that they didn't announce publicly
    - AND the documentation was written by YAWNULOS
    - AND the current office coffee ix horrid
    - AND.. it's raining and getting cold (maybe cab home)

    Meh!

You can get Silo for $19.99 for the next five days. The license key works on Windows and Linux version as well as Mac OS X.

From what I understand, triangles aren't such an issue anymore. I don't know about n-gons.

Separate models & UVs for windows are best. Silo for $20 is great - you seem to have Wings under control :)

I'm still nervous about the new Airbus planes as all they have is a game style joystick and a what amounts to a notebook computer keyboard with touch pad for the controls.

As long as the pilot doesn't forget he's not playing a video game...
...yeah, all we need is the captain to be playing GTA and slam on the right rudder pedal in reflex to what he is doing onscreen while the plane is at cruise speed and altitude.:ohh:

Yes, I have it again. This makes #4. (cough)

...ugh, I would say that qualifies. I'm fortunate (so far) I only get it every few years.

I would really go see the MD. At our age, that is not good.

In the meantime, take it easy and take care of yourself.
