They are both equally incapable of operating a balance.
You aren't kidding, that silly little house probably used like $30 worth of wood... granted it was all leftovers, but I didn't really bother to draw up the thing in CAD or make a cut list, I just grabbed some wood and banged it out not really caring to optimize each cut... now I'd be using reclaimed scrap wood instead of new plywood...
Sorry Corky, but you did eat the cork off my friggin' Rosemary olive oil bottle and you still got a nice place to live... I feel like slightly weathered reclaimed wood, would have been just as good.
She damn well better appreciate that house... I don't want to go back there and find out she's renting it to a shrew or some good for nothing chipmunks.
A ton is a ton no matter what it is made of ,one just hurts less when it lands on you
sigh. balanced my cheq book. cant check out my cart til Friday.

...had bronchitis before and definitely no fun.
One time I had to go to work, even though I felt like the walking dead from a cold that progressed to bronchitis, because my co-manger went on vacation, Worse it was a totally stressful week as we had one of the largest print jobs ever dumped on us (over 400,000 pieces) with a 5 colour (+ black) tightly registered logo (average for a large print job was around 5,000 - 8,000 units). Our old offset press was only capable of running 2 colours simultaneously and the extra colours required having to do multiple passes which, with the tight registration was pretty much impossible to maintain quality (the client also wanted it to ship the within a week). On top of that the pirnt manager decided to let our most experienced press operator the next two weeks off. .I could barely concentrate just to make it through the day and get regular orders shipped given how I was feeling, let alone deal with a crisis like this. By the time my co-manager returned my bronchitis had progressed into a mild case of pneumonia and I had to take time off to go to the doctor and get lots of rest. The whole situation was a mess, the logo had to be changed several times and the final shipping date had to be renegotiated a couple times.
That wasn't the end of it. About a month and a half later the entire shipment was returned as the customer said they decided they didn't need it. Darn near punched a wall when I saw that as I felt I was literally at death's door while trying to get the situation resolved.
So glad I'm retired.
...spent 22$ on content last night, tapped out for the week. .
...well a duvet is something you put on your bed to cover yourself up with at night while a tuffet is something to sit on that takes up floor space.
You still haven't received your stimulus payment yet? Got mine back in the beginning of April.
Don't buy a tuffet unless you eat a lot of curds and whey. If you do, keep an eye out for spiders.
...ewwww.
My money has been safe for days now. Promised myself no big carts for a while (unless the deal was amazing) and everything has been 60% off when you buy a new release, or 60% off when you buy 3 or whatever. Would rather wait a while and get 70% off one item, or 60% off a new release with no buy in. It helps that I don't need anything right now. I'm all stocked up for current projects.
I did pick up some sparkly hdris a few days back. Can't wait to check them out. Gotta love DimensionTheory.
...the only HDRIs I use are either just sky ones (with no ground scenery) or "photo studio" ones. My issues with some outdoor ones is that the light used for the sun is sometimes not as accurate as the basic Iray Sun-Sky setting. Of course the downside of just using the Sun-Sky setting is it gives you only a clear blue sky no clouds.
I picked up Dimension Theory's Cloudscape Creator bundle thinking it was a set of cloud planes and individual clouds that worked with the Iray Sun-Sky but discovered it also was HDRI based and the "sun" seemed be different in colour and luminosity than the Iray Sun . Unlike in 3DL where you can set a skydome to cast no shadows. That isn't possible with a PBR engine as the dome always blocks out the Iray sun. Hence the use of HDRIs, but not all HDRIs seem to be created equal, and I've found that a bit frustrating, particularly when I have to rebuild a character's skin because under the HDRI light it looks off. compared to the HDRI studio light set I use when building and test rendering characters or using the physically accurate Iray Sun.
I did recently purchase the IReal Animated Clouds product but need to go through the instructions and experiment with them first before using them in a scene. I also have Stonemason's Iray Clouds, however they seem somewhat dependent on camera and light angles (for example from slightly below they tend to appear more grey than white when rendered).. One matter I noticed with the Cloudscape Creator is it is pretty resource intensive, particularly if you add in what are referred to as the "Hero Clouds" (actually crashed my display driver while in Iray View mode, first time I ever saw that [and I'm running a 12 GB Titan-X with a fairly recent driver]). As I tend to save my characters as presets so I can just drop them into scenes, clothe, and pose them, I need the skin tones to look correct in all lighting types.
I was thinking of using the sparkly hdris with environments or in portraits with dome turned off. The gemstone background is cute and all, but I'm not sure it fits a lot of themes. The lighting from them is very pretty though, full of soft contrast and color.
Glad I didn't get the cloudscape creator. I was looking at it a while back, but I probably by got distracted by a squirrel or something.
Harry Potter? I haven't read the books but I enjoyed the films.

i still dont understand how d&d dice work. fad is gonna be over before i figure it out >.< or is it over?
i didnt get to use the weapon i wanted cuz the stoopid dice said i couldnt. dungeon mistress was harsh about the rules.
...HP computers...mmmm...so so.
...Dimension Theory came out with several good cloudy sky sets for for 3DL/Uberenvironement, Unfortunately as I mentioned, the skydomes don't work in Iray as you cannot turn off shadows .I did use one fo them in an Iray piece but the scene involved an overcast sky and to provide the lighting, I just applied an emissive shader to the skydome. I do have the complete IBL Skies bundle for Iray but again the photometric light used for the sun provides a "cooler" (in the sense of light "temperature") and less intense light than the Iray or "real world" sun do and shadows tend to be "harder".
Speaking of Dreamlight I used to love the old LightDomePro series I have both the original and LDP2 which came out for for Daz 3.0/3.1. Gave fairly realistic lighting for the day. The was also an expansion set of skydomes titled Azure Skies which I used regularly. The version of Light Dome Pro that was released for Daz 4.0 and later required multi pass rendering and compositing so I never bothered with it (originally it was advertised as requiring Photoshop which at the time cost around 700$).
Personally I prefer to build scenes using geometry as to me using a full HDRI environment is like putting my characters into someone else's photo (it's the old school traditional artist in me)
hp happy pills

hmm wonder if i could restart a world wide hippie flower power movement with a render.

Complaint: USPS damaged my new power supply. I woke up this morning all excited that today my new computer power supply would be arriving. I'd found a great deal on an EVGA 600w power supply and pounced on the temporary offer. I watched the item tracking through its journey but when I logged in to Amazon today and checked on its status expecting to see "Out for Delivery" I see instead "UNDELIVERABLE" Arghhh..... Further details were: "Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping and we had to cancel your delivery. The package is being returned, and we will issue a refund within 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience." Somewhere else in the Amazon paper trail I found the words "...damaged unit is being returned...".
Non-complaint: Well, at least they're refunding my money and I really didn't need that power supply quite yet anyway. And I really shouldn't be spending on computer parts for another month or so. So, maybe there will be a better deal soon. My credit card thanked me for the reprieve.
