Doing a load of laundry though my laundry day is not till Thursday.

Did some work today because it is Wednesday and starts with a W the same as Work so thought it would be auspicious for an easy afternoon, and it was !

I was supposed to wash my few white shirts to wear under my uniform but of course they did not get washed.

when ya need emergency undershirts, sometimes cheaper to get a packet of the men's undershirts

Thanks I will do that next week as I need to get some plain white shirts. I like the crop top I got from the mall at the store I call Aristotle because I keep forgetting it's real name. It is a cute crop top that I wear over a white Cain. The crop top comes to my waist since I am height challenged. The crop top has a skull pattern and each skull has hearts for eyes.

...wonderful. They can land a robotic probe on a comet but can't get a net service to remember a saved password.

Effectively am locked out of my email account on the notebook after the latest version of FF froze up up and I had to restart everything. GMail is now asking for my password (which for some stupid reason of course is not populating like it should as I have it saved and of course, which I do not remember) and I don't have a second email account for them to send it to me at. Talk about a total catch 22, they only give you three attempts and then your account gets locked. Can't even backdoor in from YouTube.

Going to have to go to FF tools and search though all the save passwords and hope it is there.

...and people wonder why I am so reluctant to install every new update that comes along.

Writing this from the workstation which I never intended for heavy Net use..

You should use a password safe rather than depending on the Windows saved password list. If Windows crashes, it could corrupt or even lose the list.

Don't you have Norton security suite? If so, use Identity Safe. It's very good and is encrypted on your hard drive, not in a cloud somewhere. If not, there are a few similar products out there, some are even freeware. Have a look at cNet's download site.

I decided to look around the mall today for a white tshirt under seven dollars but finally found one at Macy's.

Does anyone know how to get buffalo sauce out of a white tshirt? I spilled some of my late lunch on my shirt which is the reason I went searching for an inexpensive white tshirt at the mall.

edit: meant to say inexpensive but said expensive instead.

...have Norton. I came across an article a while back on password security and storage on ZD Net and it seemed to infer most of the password lockers were cloud, not system based, so I never used it.

Tomorrow is my first real day off of work since I started. I did not work last Sunday but there was a meeting that I had to go to, but it still will be a busy. I have to go get a new bus pass as I do not know when my next chance to get it until my current one expires.

Nope, IdentitySafe is on your local drive, and encrypted there. Plus, if you use more than one computer and you have Norton Security Suite on both, you can export your safe and import it to the other computer. I did that for our new laptop when we were going on vacation.

...excellent, thank you for that clarification. Particularly welcome with how flaky the site has been lately.. No longer sure what to expect when I attempt to log in tomorrow, or the next day...

I have not really processed the idea that I am working. I have not really thought much about it. I got the call on October 30th that I got hired and need to go in Monday for orientation. I did not take the time to process that before orientation. I was told to come in the next day and I would get the rest of the schedule. I got that schedule the next day and I worked everyday until Sunday when an important meeting took place. I got the schedule for this week. Monday and Tuesday I worked with out much thought. Today I came to realization that I have been working since Tuesday not including the day I had orientation.

Just make your password for the safe a strong one and keep it where you can find it. That's the only password you'll need to remember after you've logged in to all your sites. It saves your login when you do so at any site, then the next time you visit, it pops in the data automatically.

You can always tell it not to save the password for a particular site, if you wanted to. In that case, it would obey you and you'd have to log in manually to that site upon each visit.

I use Shout or Spray & Wash. They work equally well for me.

Feels good to be working, doesn't it? I'm proud of you.

...looks like we are in for it weather wise the next day or so. Latest forecast includes a winter storm watch with snow beginning in the early morning hours changing to sleet then freezing rain later in the afternoon tomorrow.. just ran out of "liquid oranges" ( I always buy the really pulpy variety) but the neighbourhood market closes in about ten minutes. Would take me that long to bundle up to go out as it's still pretty windy and cold outside.

This is the earliest I have seen such conditions in the 25+ years I have lived here. This kind of weather is more normal for late December into January rather than the first half of November. Crikey in Wisconsin we would have even considered it a bit early. The snow I can handle, at least I can get around in it and it doesn't bring down power lines. It's the ice I don't like and they're forecasting up to an quarter inch of it. Guess it's good I don't have anywhere important to be tomorrow. Just hope I don't lose power. :long:
