How do we know that the feature is enabled? I only can tell you that I own EVERY SINGLE asset in them.
Ah, sorry, I see my error now. It works only for Season Pass owners, as Kaleb242 is the only one for whom everything worked.
Were the bundles which didn't work in today's bundle sale? We know it's supposed to be enabled for those since the sale page mentions "extra discount for owning items in them", but it might not be for other bundles.
Seems so. In other words, this new feature is only "enabled" for today's sale items. That could have been worded better, as apparently, there are enough customers like me — according to the posts — who misínterpreted the nebulous wordings at the beginning of this thread.
What happens after the sale page is gone, then? Will the feature be "disabled" again for those bundles?
I patiently went through the entire list last night after Daz midnight and bought all the starters to the pro bundles I already have, basically so that they never come up in searches again. I just got home, looked at my list of orders, and someone from DAZ went in and returned my orders. Now, if I put them back in the cart, I have to pay for them, which is stupid because i own all the items already. What is going on?
Well I just “purchased” every single starter bundle and more for free because I own everything in them and got a couple of bundles for under $2.00 because I just had one thing missing. I REALLY hope Daz doesn’t return all those bundles! It just took like an hour of my time!
Yeah, last night when I saw this went live I went to the Lee 8 pro bundle and Darius because I had most of those items already and always wanted to pick up the other items anyways. They showed up as zero and I figured that with Daz_Rawb's first post saying, "In today's (April 22nd 2021) sale the bundle discount is set to give you a little boost so you would get an even better deal than that." I thought since I only needed a couple of items, that extra boost made those two bundles free. Now that they pulled the items from my library, Lee 8 and everything in the pro bundle comes up in the store as I never purchased them so now I can't even see what the new discount thanks to this new bundle discount structure will be. I really hope they didn't pull the items I purchased two years ago from me altogether by doing this. I'm going to back up all those items on my hard drive just in case.
I also picked up the toon Dwayne pro bundle for like four bucks because I owned nearly everything in that too, so seeing zero was plausible with the extra discount. I'm genuinely curious what the Lee 8 bundle will be with the new bundle discount as I would like to pick it up, but not at 47 bucks now.
The only items that were free for me were ones I already own so I hope they don’t return them!
Well, it gets worse. Now that they have "returned" the starter bundles I purchased, those items no longer show as owned in my product library for the pro bundles I own. So I have pro bundles with the character showing as not owned, along with whatever was in the starter bundles. There are also some starter bundles I owned that I bought the pro for overnight, or owned the character plus several of the items I liked, and those have been wiped from my account as well. I don't have everything downloaded anywhere because I frankly don't have room on any hard drive for it all, so there is no "backup" I can rely upon. Whatever I need for a project, I just install. There was also a bundle that I had all but one item, and paid $1.64, and they wiped that as well, and now I have to sift through my physical paperwork I keep to find where I purchased that character and the outfits from that bundle.
Well, better check your library.
i just checked out a few minutes ago. They are out of the office but I’ll be really pissed off they remove all my purchases! All the starter bundles and other bundles I own came out to over $16,000! (At full price.) And I own all the pro bundles for those,,, Their removing paid purchases is the worst thing they could possibly do! I do have them backed up, but still, the whole point of buying the starter bundles and other owned bundles was to have them not show up in the store. The last thing I want is now to show pro bundles, characters, and more as unowned!

I spot checked a few bundles and I have both the starter and pro versions in my library now after "buying" the starter versions tonight. Pro version is much farther down the list than the Starter, since I have mine in chronological order, but all looks good so far.

If you're claiming that you're listening to the various things that users have been asking for regarding bundles, the store not showing bundles where they already own all the items is a long way up the list. Users using this mechanism to address that should absolutely have been anticipated, and this kind of clumsy response that removes previously purchased products from a library is unacceptable. (And quite possibly a breach of sales contract).

So wait, If I own a pro bundle and thus all the items in the corresponding starter bundle and I then buy said starter bundle, for free as per the "new bundle discount system" that's been implemented, I run the risk of all the items both pro and starter of being removed from my account? That cannot be correct and if it is that super f-ed up. @DAZ_Rawb please clear this up, because it does not seem legal.
Just the items from the starter bundle, at least for me, which unfortunately includes the character. So, for example, Rune 7 Pro Bundle, which I bought many months ago, is now just the items not in the starter bundle. Sunny 7, I bought the starter a while back on sale and bought the cute dress later, that pro bundle came up as $0, so I bought that, and now it shows in my inventory as purchased, but when I bring up the starter bundle page, all the items show as not purchased, including Sunny, and including the dress I bought separately out of the pro bundle a while ago. I had purchased items a while back from the Reptilian 6 bundle, all except one, and after midnight the bundle came up at $1.64, so I bought that to get that last item, and when they returned that today, all the items are now showing as unpurchased.
It seems Daz had one of their customary glitch-fests last night, and several bundles were showing as $0.00 even for people who owned nothing in them. The order removers couldn't be bothered to verify which was which (or were probably ignorant of any distinctions), and they removed all orders of multiple bundles in which the bundles were free. When they removed the orders, they also removed the products.
Ok, that sounds like it was a glitch for you. But at the very least if you own the pro bundle purchasing the corresponding starter bundle should not cause it to be removed. But if you only own the starter bundle and the pro bundle came up free, then that was definitely a glitch, but if any items were to be removed it should only be the items not in the starter bundle that you already owned, definitely not the whole entire thing.
Ah, daz even when you try to do something right you manage to screw it up completely.
Ok, I've already submitted a help request, but I thought I'd mention it here too, in case someone here can escalate it. I'm afraid there's been a mistake. I did not take any items I didn't already have. I bought the Starter Bundles of the characters that I already had Pro Bundles of ONLY, to make it easier to remember what I have. I TOOK NO NEW ITEMS. However, all of the Starter Bundle items were taken out of my Product Library, even though I have PAID FOR THEM previously in a Pro Bundle. Tons of items. I need this fixed ASAP, please!

Yeah, I didn't purchase any starter bundles without owning the pro bundle first; however, there were a couple of pro bundles that came up at $0 as well, then I bought those starters.....so the items I owned already from other orders that are in those bundles will have to be reinstated. Example, the Superhero Bundle came up at $0, and I owned all but maybe one or two items, and they are older, so I didn't think much of it. There have been many smaller bundles that have Vic 4.2 etc. that I have bought along the way... well, that bundle was returned, and now all those items are showing unpurchased, even as it shows I purchased a lot of small bundles that have those items in them. And tonight, Directv decided to have a hiccup, so i can't even drown my sorrows watching Rachel Maddow, LOL.

Somehow I escaped the purge yet, and I hope they will not remove the items I legally own because I bought them as parts of the Pro Bundles.
However, I already asked my attorney to look out for a specialized attorney in Utah just in case.
Yeah, I also bought a few bundles from which I owned either everything or so much I thought it was legitimate (didn't bother to check specifics). Currently, I am in the very weird position of not owning the anatomical elements from three generations of genesis from which I own a lot of pro bundles. Haven't liked the new direction the store has taken for quite a while, and this may be the proverbial last straw.

Yep, add me to the list of people who've had a sledgehammer taken to their library. I thought getting some of those pro bundles for free sounded a bit too good to be true, but that applies to so many discounts offered in the daz store, so :shrug:. I have no issue at all with those being removed, but having to spend my morning compiling a ticket to get back items I've definitely paid for is ... let's say tedious.
WTF is going on.
After I read this thread I purchased some Starter Bundles for 0$ (like Charlotte Starter Bundle 8) for Pro Bundles I own to have them disappear from the product listings.
Yesterday I received an email that some products where wrongly shown and sold for 0$ and are therefore removed from my library.
Now the Starter Bundle shows as not purchased but also the Starter bundle part of the Pro Bundle including the core figure.
DAZ, please fix this instantly.
