And the products do indeed show only 30% off in the cart, even if I have everything from them. So this new feature of the store is just for special occasions, and not something we can constantly use?
Another sale that Europeans miss out on because we have the temerity to need sleep in a different time zone. :D
There is an engineering principle that usually has to be hard learned by every organisation.
It's 'K.I.S.S.' or 'Keep It Simple, Stupid'.
If you don't you get a FUBAR. (Fouled Up Beyond All Repair, though there is a more earthy version). Every organisation that is capable of learning from their mistakes eventually learn these immutable laws. If they don't, they will FUBAR themselves out of existance.

Richard
Had a cart full of free bundles, don't know why I didn't complete the purchase, but now it's too late. This is what I was referring to earlier: I can't wrap my head around the logic of making something like this restricted to specific items in periodic sales. If you're doing this because it's what users have wanted, why not turn it on for every bundle and leave it on? Is this system still in early testing, and it will be a regular feature when they feel it's ready?
It was only live for a short period at 02:00 Eastern time. That's not exactly NA friendly, either.
Anyway, I don't get why this is a sale, when it should be standard behaviour.
Starting to loose hope on this
This should be a general feature and i think it will make people actually spend more, not less.
When you live on early enough timezone, you go to work 2 hours before DAZ midnight and get the early bird benefits
The banner/sale went live a little before 10 PM EST. I spun the wheel, purchased almost 60 bundles that I owned all the parts to and they're still in my account as of this morning.
Maybe they made it a "sale" so that their system wouldn't think there was some glitch with what I would presume to be a lot of $0 sales?
Maybe a tax thing ?
You mean I had another shot at having my inventory royally fracked up and I missed out? I still don't have back some of the items I actually paid for that day, and no store credit for them, either.
It's possible they only wanted a small number of people to do it (for now) with a small number of their bundles so they can check if it's working properly.
Very much hoping they (eventually) turn this is on for every bundle all the time (and also that it isn't just broken).
Bundle completion seems not to work with new bundles, namely https://www.daz3d.com/jacqueline-81-undercover-retro-bundle. I got the hair already. So I expected to have the price of the hair deducted from the bundle, and then all discounts applied. Only discounts are applied.
I'm experiencing this too. I thought I'd pick up the Victoria 8.1 University Bundle (https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-8-1-university-bundle), but even though I own 5 items in it (Victoria, Library, Dorm, Vallus Hair, Matilda Hair), it shows as full price.
The bundle discounts were enabled for a single day, and then later for a brief spell. Theya re not currently enabled at all, and were never enabled for the newer bundles.
So, will they be reenabled, and will they be enabled for newer bundles?
We don't know at this time. We may know when you know.
Well, I decided to take the risk. I purchased all the free stuff (plus a little bit more) just to get them out of my searches like so many others suggested ... also, so I can specifically target purchasing the items I do not have ... WAIT!! ... did more items just go into my wishlist !?!?
I guess the new bundle maths is off and staying off as the Dire Wolf price is not being subtracted from the Folklore Bundle and as it is around 33% of the whole price ... sadly a pass for me, even with the additional reduction for the Season Pass.
Wow thanks! Finally a way to clear all those starter bundles off of the product options for what to buy pages {when one owns the Pro} :-)
Word of caution to anybody buying dozens of 'free' starters though ... make sure no real purchases are also in the cart "just in case" there's any rare glitch monster affecting the process or one's CC could get dinged for thousands of dollars ;-)

Has anybody tried it?
I loaded my cart with a [considerable number of] of starter bundles for a subtotal of nearly four grand for a total of zero bucks.
Somehow I am scared.
I purchased 130 bundles from the earlier batch and the orders stood without issue
That issue was resolved.
They are enabled for certain periods of time, like all of our promotions. You can see the current available list here - https://www.daz3d.com/tons-of-great-daz-bundles
It is enabled currently, without any bugs for this list of pretty much all daz o bundles - https://www.daz3d.com/tons-of-great-daz-bundles
However, our offers are always time limited, so it may end soon.
Out of curiosity, why is it time limited? I mean, who in their right mind would want to buy a starter bundle when they already have the pro bundle, and thus everything from the starter?
Thanks all, I will risk it.
This would come in handy for my current ticket. Request #389206
I can't get an Interactive License for the Noska Mega Bundle as I had a cart issue, removed the bundle to fix and forgot to re-add the License (removing to favourites would normally keep the license in the cart but that was addressed recently)
While it's not a full solution, being able to pick up the Rebel Protector and Silent Assassin Bundles (for which I own all the items) would at least mean two licenses instead of 20!
Any chance the offer to buy the DAZ Original bundles for just the items you are missing will be repeated or better yet made a permanent feature ? There are several bundles I would like to get but already own a significant number of the included items.
