Started to listen to an audio book by Michael Crichton about some boy attacked by a raptor.  I found it on my tablet this morning. The boy did not make it. Trying to remember what a raptor is.

In the modern world a raptor is any of a number of large carnivorous birds, like eagles, hawks, kites, falcons, owls, etc.  Decendents of the dinosaurs.

In Jurassic parks they imported Cretaceous creatures to play the roles of kitchen invaders.

Stop breathing for about 15 minutes then take a big whiff of air and if you smell nothing then it's fresh air.

    ...wow thank you.

Seems attachments are borked.  Tried to attach a pic to another post but it just sat there saying "Uploading..." (and the pic is not that large as well as within the forum posting parameters).

...for me it's why do the ones which do have items on my WL occur when I have no money?

I just got a used iPhone 3 but it does not have a sim card so I cannot activate it.  I might be able to get one Monday.

...OK so how are you getting images to post?  I keep getting just the Uploading... indicator, but nothing happens for a long long l-o-n-g time.  The pic I'm trying too attach is a .jpg that is only 800 x 800 and 410 kb in size,

Where is the image? On your hard drive? Do you think it might be your browser? Do you think I'm asking too many questions? smiley

I'm using Chrome, the attachment was uploaded from my HD. The image is about the same kb as yours but larger in dimensions. No idea why you're having problems. Sorry.

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,040

    ...no prob...

Yes the pic is on the HD, Never had this particular issue until today. I use FF and haven't changed any settings.

Must be a glitch in the Forum. Have you tried logging out and back in, etc.?

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,040

....yep, and it still occurs.  Commented about it on the "New Forums..." thread.
