    ...just received an email a short while ago and I have a sinking feeling that my source of suopport has come to an end and I will soon be on the streets. Thought I could make it until at least early SS retirment would kick in, but looks as if I ended up about five months short.  Tired of getting "so close but..." all the time.

    I have 1.87$ to my name and that is it, no job or living prospects.

    If I ever needed those Megabucks numbers to come through, it is now. 

    If I ever needed whatever curse I am under to be lifted it is now.

    If I ever needed a miracle to happen it is now.

    Based on the feeling I got after reading the email, doesn't sound like it will be anything good..Nothing was spelled out, but as Han Solo would say, "I've got a bad feeling about this."

    Don't think I'll be getting much sleep the next couple nights before the meeting.on Monday.

    just saw our resident garden snake on my window sill, woww, it's gotten big. haven't seen it in a couple years.  tried to get a pic.  mann it's fast. no one ever mentions how fast a snake can move on a hot day.

    non-complaint - tried on my old size 9 jeans, can almost close the zipper if i lay down laugh

    gotta hurry and finish the apple pie, then get to work shedding 10 more lbs

    Are you sure?  The last time I did my rain dance, it rained for weeks.  Supposed to hit 101 here today.

    KK, I wish I could help you.  I'm in pretty much the same situation.  All I can do is light candles and pray.  If the pawnshop would take the 50+ years of newspaper clippings my father left me, I could go to the grocery store.  Maybe I should forget the rain dance and try to choregraph a money dance.

    I'm still waiting for the doctor's to call me about my test results.

    The online store is sending me another AC adapter for my radio.  I tried to use rechargable NiMH batteries but the radio gave me a low battery warning.  I think the radio has a bad bug: it displays a low battery alert when I put in freshly charged NiMH batteries in it.  The low battery alert sounds at 4.45 volts for both NiMH batteries.  The batteries had a voltage of 4.75 volts, but then the voltage dropped to 4.45 volts.

    ...don't have much left that would be salable at one.  Computers are the worst as they depreciate far worse than even cars.

    i wish i had tv service. and a couch.  would like to sit on a couch and watch tv.
    wish i had a washer/dryer machine. would like to wash clothes and wear clean jammies tnite.

    i started reading the kim harrison novel friday. then it was 4am.  there was a corn muffin somewhere.  now the weekend almost over.

    ...mine (Monday) purports to be stressful.

    The angst of waiting is killing me. Didn't sleep well last night and finding it difficult to focus all day today.

    Monday felt like a never-ending Wednesday, was snow in the 'burbs here this afternoon - on what passes for high ground in these parts - cold-numbed fingers on focus rings and fleeting light made for a real slow day and then the sun set and it was even colder laugh
