Has anyone seen a Tom Hiddleston (Marvel's Loki) likeness anywhere?  I've tried to make my own a few times using dials, and I just don't seem to have any talent for it.

Well, I tried in FaceGen. I can upload it if you like. Are there any good dimple morphs for male and female figures?

Jeeze... Just how many iterations of Angelina Jolie do we need?
And still no Mary Tyler Moore...

Are we allowed to redistribute FaceGen morphs? I thought I'd seen mixed messages about that.

Actually you're not. I read their EULA a couple of months ago. I removed from shareCG a morph I had made of a famous actress using FaceGEN. If you buy a FaceGEN Commericial license, it's about $2000, then you may distribute FaceGen morphs you make free or commercially (eg in a DAZ character product).

They also have other versions of FaceGEN meant for gaming and other platforms than DAZ 3D with their old license terms.

A version of FaceGEN is the engine behind the Faceroom in Poser Pro 11 (and earlier versions) but apparently that is an old version as my attempts to use it with photos that I used on the standalone version of FaceGen successfully only resulted in a mess. Should you get the Faceroom working for you though and have Poser Pro 2014 Game Dev or Poser Pro 2011 that is legal to use in a game. To use as a model product's set of character morphs would be legit too.

The daughter with the shield/air power.  This looks really good.  Better than a lot of Facegen output I’ve seen.

none of the Anne Hathaway morphs suited me, so i started with P3D Nelly and spent a lot of time customizing!

Here are a couple of shots of a WIP. Doing the sculpting in Hexagon. Please ignore the textures; they are just an arbitrary skin for a quick render.

I hope this one won't be too hard to guess.

    Comments?  Critiques?

I don’t think I’m way out if I say that the new boy Owen 8 is a young Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road, Taboo and Peaky Blinders).

Yeah, you aren't :D Exactly my first thought when I saw him ;) I specifically was thinking of him circa Star Trek: Nemesis in his younger, pre-shaggy beard days.

There is an amazing likeness of Elizabeth Montgomery already at Rendo. Slightly made more waifish but:

I just started converting my Celebrity Directory into a searchable directory. The new searchable directory can be found at:

    http://www.beammeup.net/blog/3d-celebrities/poser-celebrities.php

I am entering all the celebrities manually and marking the ones no longer available, as well. With the new searchable directory they will be kept around in case they resurface again, as some have, and can be searched for reference.

I will be adding an anonymous report feature so if anyone finds one that is no longer available they can report it.

Don't enter anything in the search field and you can navigate all under the radio button you select, just hit the Submit button.

Yes, that's possible as I will use the same code for a 3D freebies searchable website, as well, which will have categories.

  • Just in case anyone would be interested, a Lynda Carter character:

    http://forender.com/funding.html

Just two days left. The V4 version has been met, but G2 still needs $200. G3 version far from funded.

Sort of wierd that they'd call that fund raising rather than product selling.

  • Sort of wierd that they'd call that fund raising rather than product selling.

Because they raise money for projects that haven't even been started yet. If they don't hit their funding goals the character never happens at all.

Oh, I suppose it's supposed to be a kickstarter when you have to have your customers before you make a product.

Pretty much. Unless they hit their full-exclusive tier, after it's created they put it up for sale to people who didn't contribute to funding.

Can anyone place MRL Brienne for me? She's definitely reminding me of someone, I know Mihrelle usually does look a likes, and it's driving me batty!

Save me, Look-a-like thread. You're my only hope.

99% sure she's a softened up likeness of Gwendoline Christie.

EDIT: Or Tilda Swinton, but the name Brienne rather suggests the former.
