Another consideration, just so that one of the last posts doesn't confuse buyers who haven't used Fit Control before, is that this product doesn't add to your list of Genesis 9 morphs that have to load every time you load a G9 figure... It adds all these amazing morphs to the clothing article of your choice (which probably came with very few, if any, morphs of their own), when you choose to add them. Such a useful product. Thanks, Zev0!!
Slight correction here. It does load on the figure, they are just hidden. Once you activate Fit Control, the morphs from figure are then projected onto the clothing.
  • Ah, my apologies... the system of hiding and then revealing the projections fooled me, for sure. Even so, their addition is well worth it in my opinion, and at least it doesn't add to the clutter of the rest one's G9 morph lists, etc.

I didn't hesitate when I saw Zev0 and Fit Control and just slammed it into my cart, budget be damned. It pays off. I so could have used it two days ago.

    Thank you Zev0

    No worries:)

Definitely a useful product and one I've been waiting on for G9. If my post came across as ciritical, it wasn't my intention - Zev0 is in my top 5 vendors as someone who always delivers a professional product. The bundle is currently in my cart waiting to see if anything else pops up on promotion.

Oh not at all... just wanted to mention what I thought would be helpful info for others, but I was wrong anyway. I'm right there with ya, can't do without Zev0's products and can't wait to get home later to play around!

@Cherubit, if you are still following this thread, I want you to notice an error in the assignment of polygons to face groups and the associated weight mapping in the Pleated Pants. Some left and right thigh polygons are assigned to the opposite face group, and that causes big lumps poking  out in the inner thigh areas. These lumps are pretty much mitigated by simulation and smoothing, but if someone wants to use the pants without simulating, that can look pretty bad.

    https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-dynasty-attire-for-genesis-9 looks really nice

https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-strife-outfit-for-genesis-9 makes no sense to me at all. A suspender/harness over a vest/waistcoat over a women's blouse? Is it bundle filler or is anyone buying it directly?

Thank you for pointing that out, I removed the strife texture pack from my cart. I am only just now looking over today's offerings (weird day) and the brain is not with it. That outfit and the outlaw one disappointed me. Maybe a shader pack can help the outlaw jacket? I found the bundle's lack of a coherent theme disconcerting. But, I like this bundle better than the one for Karmen 9 HD. I only bought her and the hairs.

As for the additional shapes, if I remember correctly, didn't someone say that Karmen's were only sliders. Could Zack's be sliders as well?

    all shapes are sliders

some just get a duf loader and icon as well to move those sliders

Just finally got them downloaded. They have their own icons as regular actors. And seem to look a lot alike, except a bit gaunt or someone has been hitting the beer too much and Buff, well he needs to chill.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a truss bridge come up for sale in the Daz Shop!

    https://www.daz3d.com/fn-bridge

The inspiration appears to be Budapest's Liberty Bridge, built in 1894.

    Looks beautiful.

(edit: come to think of it, the streetcar also looks like it could be from Budapest's early tram system)

I recognized it right away too. It's beautiful. I'll have to have it, even if I have no idea what I'll use it for. Maybe we can have the Chain Bridge nex. :P

  • Ah, I knew I recognised the bridge! I was sure I'd walked across it before but couldn't remember when. Definitely getting it too. Looks fabulous.

She almost looks crosseyed to me... I've not bought her... Curious to see how others render her before I take the plunge!

That's what I thought, too. Almost all promos have her looking way off the to side, and it doesn't look like the eyes are coordinated to me. Maybe it is because of the overly large eyes. Eye rigging for G9 is a little tricky. Shape Rigger Plus for G9 does a good job of it, though.

I don't have Shape Rigger Plus and if I'm going to pay for a character I expect it to work right out of the box.  :)

Yes, of course, I agree. I use Shape Rigger Plus to adjust rigging on my converted characters.

@Cherubit - I hope you are still reading this thread. Another issue with the wide, pleated pants is that when the character wearing them has high heels, the front and bottom of the pants gets pulled down (please see attachment). A weight mapping issue apparently. It would be great if you would fix that too. Otherwise this is an excellent product, very needed. Thank you!smiley

    Is that simulated or not?

    Yes, it is simulated, Richard

When I simulate the pants from memorized pose, that drooping front part (as shown in your blue stripe pants image attachment) fixes itself. Are you sure the blue striped pants image was simulated? Maybe you meant that the brown pants image was simulated.
