As for the ETA- I just started him Friday, really. I have some tweaking to do on his skin settings and I was thinking of a secondary skin set for him as well. If all goes well, those should be done in less than a week. Then it's rendering icons, getting him to the tester and then promos and PASS so it could be a couple of weeks.
I'll keep updating, though. ;)
Good to know. Then, I guess it has to go through DAZ and hope they say yes and Q&A. Sigh, you just keep showing me pictures and I'll drool for a few weeks. ;) In the meantime, I'm saving some pennies as I haven't gotten much in the sales. I'm trying really hard to be frugal this year and only get those things I really want which always includes quality male characters. :) Hmmm, did I mention I really like those wings on his back? Very cool looking!

I'm doing a close up on his face with a different set of hair on him atm. ;) I do appreciate it a great deal that people do want him for their use, believe me. And....thank you! I tried for something different with the tats- I know I've done black outs before, but I'm slowly improving on my workflow and the actual making of them. Constantly.

Well, I didn't remember to remove the camera's headlamp on that one particular render so I didn't save it..wow. Talk about baaaaaaaaaaad.
So, last night I set up a few testers for lighting ideas for promos and thought I'd share the first one that finished instead.
I like how the lighting highlights your figure. I'm not so sure I'm crazy about how the background looks. Is that possbly just temporary while you fiddling with lighting ideas? If you keep that pose, I suggest moving his left arm forward so more of the nice tat is visible. The pose itself works well with that lighting, though. Nice! I am up far earlier than I ever am, though, so take anything I say at this hour as the suggestions of a mad woman! I can't believe I'm actually up before the sun today. I think I've lost my mind!
lol- thank you. Yeah, it's the HDRI mapping, the background. Just fiddling at this point, but I do like the lighting set up in this one. I'll definitely take the suggestions.
I'm up to get ready for work, but yeah- no sun here either. Urg.
Ah, well, the great thing about the HDRI mapping is that you can still use the light without the background and insert your own if you don't have Draw Dome on. :) I DO like how the lighting works on the figure.
As for being up, I don't even have the excuse that I needed to get up to go to work. I just managed to crash earlier than my normal bedtime last night so woke up incredibly early. I'm usually a night owl and don't usually go to bed until after 2 am. Last night, I was in bed by 10 pm.
Exactly- so if I either use a background prop or a scene, I can use the same mapping which I really like in this.
Heck, I passed out before 9. I used to be a night owl, complete with sleeping disorders that kept me at a usual 12-15 hours of sleep a week. Now? Fft. I can SLEEP.

The lighting is the Iradience HDR set mixed with warhol lights : )
But I guess the background has a very Poser feel :D :D :D

Came up with some skin settings I'm pretty happy with. Jayce skin, mix of Jayce and other morphs. (Jayce is preteen, I 'aged' him up a little)
Experimenting with some knit stuff.
The boulder to the right and the wood uses my WTP shaders. I would have preferred to use a texture for stuff that close to the camera, but the existing textures were too low resolution.
The terrain uses a two-layer mix shader, based on normals. The actual textures are from TerraDome3, I think.
Here's one I just finished. My first Snape in nearly six years, usual fanart disclaimers apply. Rendered in PoserPro 2014, postworked in Photoshop CS2. Some production notes if anybody's interested: Michael 4 and morphs, Midnight Prince Hair, M3 Adrian texture (with V4 Corvena eyes), M4 displacement maps and the Mourning Sun outfit (skirt) available here at Daz. Harness is from an M3 set by Lilflame, which may or may not still be available at Renderotica as it's positively ancient. Undies are AlanX's M4 speedo and the sash is from Adzan's free "Ode" outfit for Hiro 3 which you can probably find on sharecg. All materials except on the skirt are by Noonwalker. The Gem Tiara is by Michelle -- I think it comes with Moon Shadow Hair? -- and the snake armlet is from DM's free Snake Jewels for V4. Not sure if that's still around now either, I found it on one of my backup discs from 2011 and had forgotten to install it. The face morph is about 90% "Severus" by trekkiegrrl (it's now called "Sevvie for M4" over at Rendo, I bought it before it became an RPublishing item) and a mix of CDI, M4 Enhanced and other morphs. Been trying to get him as close to my old M3 version as possible, he's not a perfect match but I like him and so does Harry. ;-)

That tribal one is so cool
I like the tribal tatoo and both of the tats on both their right arms look very cool. Would love to see those in more detail. I'm not sure what the one on the leg is supposed to be, but it looks interesting, looks kind of like bone and muscle? The others look good, too, but the ones I mentioned, I really like! :) Overall, I'd say they all look good.
