@knittingmommy, @serenenight, @nonesuch00, @butch...
thanks for you comments and suggestions.
Thanks, I wanted to be able see both sides of him.
On the Grand Canal...
Full image (there's another part to it) can be seen at this link.
Test of VWD, and flowing locks. Woo.
newest render
Not my favorite image of him, but he looks good. I still find it amazing how little changes like hair and camera angle can make the same character look so different. My favorite image is still the one you posted previously, but this one is good!
I decided I was going to render EP3A Gage for Michael 7 sooner or later....
Classy
DB made in MD
Nice job on that suit. Love the neckline and collar, and the cool tie! =-)
Thanks! Seems the hair is an issue with a few people. lol I may change it again.
So, here is my go at a new guy, Merrick for Michael 7. I was also testing out TD3, too, so I didn't add any additional lighting to bring out his eyes. Still a nice shot. Scion is next up in my who do I play with next to see how he does. I just have to figure out what I want to do with him. I have a couple of ideas playing around in my head.
I think that short hair just seems to make his face too angular. I don't know. Hair can really make a difference.
Cool render. I didn't buy Merrick yet, but I like what you did there with him close to the vehicle. Looks realistic and the lighting is good.
He's cute. Love the veins and his fit looking body and the open shorts is a good touch.
Very romantic. I wish I were there. Is that a cell phone/camera in his hand?
Okay here is my latest. When I saw the nightclub at CGBytes I knew I had to buy it. It is so colorful and I'm a big sucker for color... Plus I needed an alien bar. The pose just amused me. I found it in a set for V4. Yes Boyd is quite flexible. All that genetic engineering.
That's a flexible body.
Boss
Oh, now that is awesome! Even better dark than light I think, and I loved the last one. The red hanky is a nice touch with the patterning.
I like the dark version too! :)
Thanks. I think it turned out pretty nice. I'm not completely happy with his eyes, but considering it was more of a test to see what TD3 could do with regards to lighting, it turned out better than I expected.
Now, as to your render! I had no idea Boyd was that flexible! ;) Very nice! :)
@mal3Imagery I love the darker suit! You can never go wrong with just that little splash of color, either. Very nice! :)
Actually, I reconsidered and I think I should have known Boyd was that flexible given his earlier image! Still a nice render!
With the slumped shoulders and the posture, there is such a depressing mood in this image! Great posing because if that was what you were trying to achieve, I think you pretty much nailed it! Nice job!
well, @knittingmommy, I was going for anything that worked for me after a day of dismal failures...so the subconcious strikes again.
Okay, so I'm a'gonna stop dithering and post now I've gotten the hair to my liking. Yes, there is a story to go with, whenever I get around to finishing it. This is M4 rendered in PoserPro 2014 and he's obviously been raiding Vicky's closet --- what can I say, he's really into high heels and frilly-bummed knickers, even when he's supposed to be doing serious consulting magecraft in order to find a serial killer.
And no, my dear Inspector, he is not practicing necromancy without a licence. In his case neither practice nor a licence are required. ;-)
@Byrdie That's a really cool image!
On a Western vibe lately, here are two members of a group fighting the weird in the West...
Edward and Little Wolf.
Ages ago I contemplated running a Cthulhu campaign in the Wild West, and one of the things I noted was... there was a LOT going on in that period. You had Ronin, Boxer Rebellion, Opium Wars, inventors and railroads, Hermetic lodges in Europe, gunslingers, the plight of slaves and Native Americans.
Edward:
Endo Kota believed his dishonor was too great to deserve seppuku, and, instead, threw himself into the sea. But... something was there. Something that found him curious.
When he awoke on the shore, he must have been blessed by Akkorokamui, and was filled with a new purpose. He left his disgrace and his land behind.
It has been many years. He has not aged. And now, Edward fights monsters.
Little Wolf:
Little Wolf's village took in a refugee, an old Chickasaw woman. Then the mysterious deaths began, people attacked by some large animal... but there was no blood. No blood in the area, no blood in the bodies.
The Chickasaw woman was a Ravenmocker, using twisted medicine to maintain her life by drinking that of others.
She soon openly hunted the villagers, none able to stop her growing power and youth.
Finally it was only Little Wolf and the Ravenmocker.
(Edward's image has a little bit of a visual joke; 'ronin' are 'wave men')
Thanks. I actually had a harder time getting the hair to go right than getting him into those heels. It really helps when there are Girl morphs included, I think she and Mike have nearly the same size feet. The knickers, if anybody's wondering, were kitbashed from a pair of M4 undies and some frilly lingerie that I got over at Renderosity. I could have just put those on him with little adjusting other than adding a bulge morph. But no, he wanted a thong with little lace frills on the back and there had to be skulls and ... who am I to deny the poor dear his pretties?
Great image Byrdie! I love those heels on him, the outfit, the whole works! Awesome. =-)
This guy ended up waaaay more hunk than I had intended...
Test of WTP (everything is procedural, only texture maps are eyelashes and hair)
(And wow I hate posing swordsmen; I find half the positions they are likely to use require shutting off limits and doing extra tweaks that canned poses don't capture)
i'm guessing those are Generation 4 clothing as they are clingier than usual.
@DarwinsMishap I really hope you don't mind what I did with Scion. This really wasn't where I had intended on going with him, but I got inspired. It isn't my normal style of image as far as tone mapping goes, but I liked how it looks. I think I'm having way too much fun with tone mapping and it probably won't be to everyone's taste, but it made me happy. There are enough shadows that it took forever and a day to fully render out on my computer. When I first saw him in the store, all I could see was that black latex makeup and I didn't like it. Just not my style or something I would go for. I did like his head morph, though, and I found I did like the other makeups. I think the one I used is my favorite. I titled it Scion's Torment in my gallery.
