How did you get this offer?
I had nothing of the sort, still blocked at the DAZ+, tried cancelling, and I have no access to any possiblity of changing.
I use DAZ for book illustration (3 published) and have a huge number of assets, but most of the time I am writing, not rendering. A subscription model makes no sense for my kind of use. I feel a real fool for buying a lot of assets recently only to discover that I may be harnessed to an increasingly crippled version of Studio while all the "good stuff" goes into a subscription version. No change at the moment perhaps, but something like a faster or accelerated dForce (similar to Marvellous Designer) as a "subscription only" option would be hurtful in the extreme.
In view of this I won't be throwing good money after bad until I see a clear statement from Daz concerning the future of the non-subscription version of Studio. If Daz won't communicate that vision of the future, then I won't spend money on assets. I think that is clear, rational and concise.
All we're asking for IS clarity - and with the launch, there's none. Thanks for clearing up what you have .. but .. there's still mistiness there ..
What is the "exclusive content"? Characters? Clothing? Environments? .. And then deeper - what characters for instance? The main weekly Daz Original characters? PA characters? Do we get a choice? For instance - I'm strictly a girl type of guy .. I'm not interested in "exclusive content" if you're going to shove a load of guys my way or lions or pixies and not give me a choice on what content is available for me ..
If you're asking people to give up 20 months of Daz+ for 3 months of Premier .. then you need to communicate to people just what they're getting .. Most people are still none the wiser ..
For instance - is the sculpting tool basically Mesh Grabber 4?
FREE Legacy content .. What exactly? V4? Genesis 3 stuff? What?
People need information. You can't just leave it for people to guess.
I'm not a professional by any stretch, but even as a hobbyist I find the idea of starting a project with content I might not be able to use by the end of the project to be distasteful in the extreme. Rental content is not a selling point, it's a reason to avoid Premier no matter what the other benefits are.
I was at last able to use the character bundle coupon. Edit: And I got an Email "Welcome to DAZ Premier"
Don't feel bad. I got a 2 mth offer for my personilized offer...my DAZ Plus expires 2026-06-19
I'm thinking maybe based on what actually was paid....dinged for buying at steep discounts, maybe.
The Premier Plugins based on ManFriday's work, they've been brought inhouse and released with some changes.
You can currently find them on the Public Beta track.
Mine expires in April 2026, and I got the two month offer, also.
You must also be a bargain shopper. LOL
I believe you only get credit for what you actually paid.
I almost extended it to 2027 a couple of sales ago, but I thought that was excessive.
My DAZ+ subscription (should be until sometime in 2025) has disappeared. I'll give it a day (no shopping) and check back. Then I guess I have to go back looking thru invoices and hope I can find proof of my extention date.
That is so utterly ridiculous that it has to be a bug. I cannot believe any company would do that intentionally.
I just upgraded to Premium and don't seem to have access to any of the additional plugins/tools in the program. The product page has a listing of them, DIM has nothing to download (searched for "premier", along with other keywords and refreshed it several times), nothing on my serial numbers page and the they are not listed in my list of plugins either. The coupons work, along with the extra tokens (adding Genghis Khan as a test will grant 12 tokens, crazy stuff). How do we get access to the extra tools?
Yeah, I want to know if gen 8.x with HD morphs converts to gen 9 with HD morphs !
edit: Nevermind, found my answer it doesn't. (I own the ManFriday's Figure Converter for Genesis 9)
If this was four or five years ago, I'd say sure, it sounds like a good idea. The coupons alone pay for the month, which is how I've always justified my daz+ membership. Now though, I already have the bundles they're giving away for free, so I'm sure that'll be a regular occurrence, so that's out. Stuff in studio itself is unnecessary for me as I do everything in blender because of how inferior daz is for animation, so that doesn't interest me. So really it's just the coupons and the savings on buying stuff, which I have been barely buying anything the past year since I lost my animation jobs to AI in December and haven't found work in the field since. So my joy of 3D has greatly waned and Daz implementing AI made me even less excited. Yesterday I couldn't even convince myself to buy a few items I'd been wanting for awhile on the last day of the sale. I'm back to being more interested in filmmaking only utilizing all the 3D aspects I've learned over the past eight years to do some great special effects and such. So it's hard for me to justify a 20 dollar monthly fee when I just use the coupons every month for the most part, and if I didn't have those, I wouldn't buy anything. So for now, I'll be passing on this. But it is a good deal savings wise for folks who are just coming into Daz.
Don't forget (and I think peeps have...) That by upgrading to Premier... you/we will be loosing out on 6.00month FREE Daz content for the number amount of months left... I have 12 months... so 12x6.00 = 72.00... am I right? for a month or two of 10.00 content. I'm gonna wait out my 12months as Daz+... I don't wanna loose 72.00!
They are not available yet in Daz Studio. The only way to access them is by installing the Public Beta. Yes, this is a piece of information Daz should be publicizing instead of letting us wander around frustrated and confused for an hour trying to access the new tools.
This is absolutely what they have done intentionally

People are saying the Premier software features are all plugins you could buy today. Is there already one to export DAZ characters re-rigged with Mixamo rigs? Which is it?
If not, how easy is it to "churn" Preimier? Will I be able to cancel myself, or is it a "contact support and hope they respond before the renewal date" kind of thing?
I could see myself subscribing for a month (next year after my DAZ+ expires) in order to make some use of the Premier software features, but I wouldn't want to pay $20/month for more than 1 month at a time.
Daz Original content and artist content. 2x $6 a month if you spend both of your coupons (I always do, which for me would mean losing 13x $12 of discounts, or $156).
Maybe you have to tick some options in "Downloadfilters" to make them visible?
That appears to be the pattern. I was offered one month, for my Daz+ membership that expires in December 2025. I know I extended my subscription the last couple of times with screaming sale deals - without looking back at receipts, I think under $20 for a year this last time. So there's the flip side of being a good bargain hunter.
For now, I am sticking with my existing Daz+ subscription. I am at a stage in my content acquisition that the Daz+ tier offers enough value, for the money I have in it; I just don't need that much more stuff to make the much more pricey Premier tier justify itself. I think for a someone closer to starting out, with a lot of disposable income, it could be a good deal. But that's not me today. I already have all the stuff.
So long as the base product has a free perpetual license, as does the stufff bought at the Daz store (it sounds like the "works while you have a subscription" applies to premier-subscriber-only tools/plug-ins rather than stuff bought at the store) I have no hard feelings.
But maybe it is a message that I probably should refocus on creating rather than acquiring.
As expected, a totally worthless offer for me given that I own all but two of those Pro Bundles in their entirety and have cherry picked out the base figures and all the items I have any intertest in ages ago. What does that leave? In my case - a bland pair of earings from the Pixie bundle, and then a lame tatoo, a dorky expression pack, and a totally laughable warrior outfit from the Lion. Yeah, that couldn't be considered a good deal even if those items were actually yours to keep, which as part of Premiere, they apparently aren't.
They are yours to keep (from the last page):
The subscription content part is all a bit vague, but I believe the character packs are yours to keep.
The free bundles are yours to keep. Only access to premier-exclusive content (of which there's none so far) and premier tools are temporary.
Took the words right out of my mouth. It's been two years since G9's release and not only does G9 library still fall far short of the G3-8 products, but the one thing that it has managed to do is to effectively put the death nail in the hopes that many held about how making the base figure unisex would cause an explosion in male clothing.
