Off topic, Can any one convert a Max file to .OBJ?

Ooh, a Poser version of that, as well as badge, and rest of the uniform gear would be awesome. (I know the old version of the Judge gear, listed via Vanishing Point no longer exists, sadly.)

    Take note folks!

I just got Blitzed by some jerk calling himself Dameon at a yahoo e-mail. Over a hundred mailings saying theyr were mail delivery failure notices.
I did not open any of them- just deleted them. If You are hit, I strongly suggest you do the same.

Wear a really bad Hawaiian shirt. That'll overpower any cardigan ever knitted.

    Wait, did I misunderstand...? ;-P

That is an amazing TNG remake of the TOS bridge! I can see Mr. Sulu firing the photon torpedoes as Captain Kirk bounces around in his seat! Gives me hope for the original TOS Connie's in the TNG era! I would be willing to cut off my bosses toes to get a hold of this set!

Like this alot. If TOS Star Trek were starting from scratch today, I can see this being the Bridge they might come up with.

    Nifty :-)

Might tone down the brightness on the long yellow wall strips as it's a bit distracting.

Very cool, sir. Love the idea of the TOS bridge done in the TNG style. Definitely would have ideas and inspiration to use it. Very well done.

I second what Paul said. Thank you very much to all of the artists out there who made them. They are a very welcome addition to our list.

Bluto, thanks for steering me in the direction of Taranis69's Romulan Bridge. http://taranis69.deviantart.com/

It's still a work in progress to complete the conversion over to an object file format that works in DAZ or Poser.

I can't share the set and must point out the only way I was able to work this into daz and poser was to triangulate every polygon in Carrara to ensure a smooth version. Unfortunately this quadrupaled the memory foot print of the set. as well as haveing to take every surface in the DAZ version and turning the 'angles' in the surface tab down to zero to eliminate the sharp angle glitches that occur with some software exporting procedures. Don't know how to do that in Poser yet.

As for the image...The Romulan Commander won't appear in the graphic novel with this set...the rest will.

I thought I would pop in and say hello. I think this is my first post too.

When I designed it a few years ago in Lightwave I never finished it nor optimized it for Daz or Poser with Fretslayer which was the original intention. I personally don´t know enough,,,,, Fretslayer was the brains of the operation and I the dogsbody..... or grunt perhaps. :)

Like most fan projects its hit the skids and real life took over... and we never had the chance to return to the project.

I am sure we will one day come back to it, but at least the Romulan Bridge is getting an airing via PDSmith work.....

the fun part is seen what new direction the Bridge could take with PDSmith, at this time the bridge is not publicly available, mostly because I never finished it as mentioned above........

Rechecking my files I found that this was WIP3 .... My normal number before I get near calling a model finished is around WIP12 or more....

    all the best

    Ger
