The Spirit of Chicago on the planet Serella. Comments welcome.

Needs a fancier paint job. Other than that, nicely done!

    :-) Maybe some racing stripes?

What, you want it to look like a Starfleet shuttle? :-)

If you want it to stand out from the military ships, give it some nose art. No Trek navy has nose art on their ships...

She's been in my Nova Trek series since book Four- "Another Step Toward War". She's owned and flown by Commander Shev Tar'laren.

    Is she available anywhere?

Nope. She's mine from the ground up. I hadn't considered releasing her. She only exists in a Poser 9 scene file- I've been afraid to export her into an obj- afraid of what might happen. Most of her structure was done in google sketch-up and exported as objs that were set in place in Poser. If someone else has Poser 9- Does D/S accept Poser scene files?- I can send her to you and you can give exporting a try.

This pic's screencapped from "Another Step Toward War" Unfortunately, all the original artwork was lost when my first external drive died.

This is one of several available online tools to "maybe" get the email address of the spammer. click here

It's not necessary that they knowingly snagged your address, just using it randomly perhaps. However when I had a similar problem, I used one of these, sent the fellow an email written in printable, very printable language ... end of his spams :-)

You're welcome and hope it works for you. Element of surprize can do wonders.

My mother got a spam phone call the other day. Did a call back return to see who had called her. Silly person was using their home phone and oh the back tracking fast talk she did lol ...

Got a "spam" phone call of sorts last week, under the guise of telling us the results of some blood tests. Basically, it was a phishing expedition so I could tell some perv about our sex lives. Fortunately it sounded pretty fishy (no pun intended) from the start, so he got nothing. The phone number he gave me to return his call belonged to an elderly Chinese lady . . .

    All,

I haven't forgotten about you all. I appreciate just as much as the next artist the freebies that have been posted but real life has caved in on me big time.

I'm up to my eyeballs in studying for my current position at work. written test Thursday, 'murder board' shortly there after and final oral board and qualification after that.

I hope to have a break this week end and post some teaser shots of the current lux render version of the graphic novel in progress.

    have fun y'all.

    -Paul

Angela M'Benga came from a long line of doctors who've served Starfleet. However, she broke with the family tradition and study psychology not medicine. M'Benga felt that a patient's mental health was as important as their physical health. That decision did not sit well with some in her family.

Once in Starfleet, M'Benga was surprised to find the amount of resistance some starship captains had to the idea of a ship's counselor. To her dismay, she found her role on some of the starships she served on to be, at best, tolerated.

M'Benga was considering resigning her commission in order to go into the private sector when the offer to transfer to the U.S.S. Invictus came from Captain Stellan Norstrom. Her reaction, in a word, was shock. From everything she had heard about Norstrom, she had figured him for one of the "old-school" captains who wouldn't want a ship's counselor. Norstrom explained to her the reasons he needed a ship's counselor... A very good ship's counselor.

M'Benga's petite form contrasts the size of her determination. And her British accent makes her a favorite of Dr. Tom Laird!

Presupposing the downloads ever complete intact. Sure wish they'd upgrade or whatever is necessary to make the system more reliable for uploading and downloading. People complain about bandwidth and don't seem to comprehend that 5 x 45mb of a 50 mb item for example uses way more bandwidth than 1 x 50 mb in the first place. To do that requires some speed in this day and age, which shouldn't be so problematic. End of rant. 37 kb/sec honestly ....

Finally had a moment to look at this spacesuit from Foundation 3D and it's a mess. I don't know if it is i Lightwave, but in POser the textures are all messed up. To get the visor's texture, youn have you have to select "Helmet detail gloves". Never mind the fact that there's a body attached! how do you use it for your characters when someone else is already wearing it?

It wasn't intended as a clothing piece but as a character itself if I'm recalling the right file.

That doesn't do me any good then. I need the suit for my characters- not theirs.

Was it for M3 or M4 that you're wanting a suit?

Well, these sections - The chest/torso unit and helmet- could be props- which would be best because I need it for V3,M3, James and the rest. Bodysuits for those figures would make up the rest of ther suit.

i have some pics of the spacesuit from the Tholian episode ... I'll see what I can do for V3 and M3. Certainly the helmets can be props and fit most any of the characters.

TOS era won't work for me. My stories have moved into the movie era- that's why I needed the TMP/WOK suit.

    Could be. :-)

Thanks, Bill!! Now it's just a matter of better textures for the flight suit, boots and gloves.

When Epithumia did the First Contact suit, I borrowed the gloves from Lourdes' Norman outfit and textured them.

I always thought the Babylon 5 jump gate would make for an excellent non-Federation space doc. Like here, the Klingons would only need to space the structures further apart for the bigger ships. Makes the Klingons look quite clever, I think. ;)
