    just a rough test tried just adding aditive horse base to g3f but could still see shelll of her legs when they were hidden so this tried loading full centaur the f3 hiding her lower half moved into poistion then hid the guy then parented him to her the back part of horse neck has a gap between her and the horse and if try to use premade poses she wont follow but if you manually pose works ok so either that way or pose centaur first then connect her and either have camera angled so don't see back gap or maybe the clothing might hide that or post work but only rough quickie here oh pose I adjusted para's to each part -100 and plus 100 so could make more extreme posing legs don't bend that much as here

    I am wating for the Female centuar!! for sure been improvizing up until now .Also been playing around and the Centuar7 takes DAZHorse2 pose great ,and Genesis male poses  no more flying apart when posing!!

    This is a VERY nice offering.  While I did not actually get the bundle as I currently dont have a use for a centaur in anything I foresee myself doing, I did get both hair products and the Alexi character.   However, should my needs change and I have a use for a centaur, it is wonderful to know that there is a high quality offering available.  Much appreciation to everyone who worked on this.

    Promo art features Dante 7 with Centaur 7, so I'm guessing the upcoming release of Ophelia 7 could possibly be a lead up to a female Centaur. Just speculating...

    Yup, went directly to the store and looked for the name Rogan and found it.  Carted that along with some other goodies and checked out.  Downloading now... Thanks folks!

    Your welcome!  Will be after dinner as I need to go with my husband to pick up the car from the shop.  And he gets grumpy if I put Daz before dinner lol.

    Okay this is what I get in 4.8 Iray on the laptop.  Works perfectly on my PC that has 4.9.  So its clearly a compatability issue with 4.8.   I won't be using the centaur on the laptop apparently because I am not giving up 4.8 on this machine until they bring the blue bars for new content back or there is an equally easy way to find my new content.  So I will use him on my PC only.  But if all you have is the 4.8 then if you want to use the Centaur then you will have to upgrade to 4.9 unless they do a fix.   I turned the opacity to 0 but as you can see it didn't work.    Hope that helps!

    Did you get Raw Art's as well? I wonder if his would work or would it have the same problem in 4.8?

    Can't buy until the weekend, but picked out the Pro bundle, Rogan, and the extra poses and armor texture sets that I wanted. By then, the best deal will probably have expired and I will have to throw some of that stuff out of the cart, but by gum, I've wanted an official centaur pretty much since I first saw the freebie for kitbashing M4/V4 and Millennium Horse into one back in 2009. Not gonna let this one slip away.

    Thanks guys! I like the base version and Rogan in different ways. They are both cool.

    You will want 4.9.3 or newer, so it should be fine.

    No I had to put that in the wishlist until payday.  But it does require the base centaur and I think its possibly the geo shell that is causing the issue as they disappear if I turn off the geo shell.  Of course, so does the rest of the centaur body lol.

    Wish my PC would cope better with 4.9, but no, turns into a puddle of warm, mushy oatmeal every 10th or so action :-(. Nevermind, save, save, save, pull plug, restart... rince, repeat .

    4.7 is more fun for everyday use but getting more and more limiting.

    umm this might not work but what if you load the centaur in your version of DS and then save it  .......so that maybe it would work in the lower version of DS ,cause isn't that part of the issue it was made and saved in a higher version of DS?

    I just got the whole kit and kaboodle. Not really into fantasy creature people but the sagittarius in me jumped out and put it in my cart pressed the buy button.  Those pesky centaurs are an uncontrollable lot!

    yup but you do have to chose "the centar male body" and you have to check that the pose has been saved right and doesn't make the figure jump around or you do get weirdness ,I've gone through my poses and fixed most of those issues though

    Added this to my cart, took it back out and then added it in again all day long. Eventually bit the bullet and went for it. If you're on the fence about Centaur 7 I would suggest you go for it. It's a great set. Well done to everyone involved in working on all the various pieces! Great job!

    That's an interesting thought... It won't help anyone who only has 4.8 but it would certainly make it usable for my laptop.  I have several things lined up that I need to work on in Studio this weekend so I may not get to it right away, I have some testing I need to do and a render I need to start in Carrara for the contest but if I can squeeze it in I will report back if it works.

    Am I the only one who has absolutely no expectation of a lady centaur? I mean, I think it'd be great. But this seems like the G3 version of Minotaur 6?

    I wonder if they could make a hot harpy. I guess if they go more 'bird woman' than 'woman-faced bird'. Oooh, wait. Sphinx. They can reuse the Big Cat stuff and everything.

    I took a chance on it. And I was able to get it to work in 4.8

    Just select the Male Centaur Body Node, and then select all these surfaces, and set Opacity to 0 for all and it should do the trick.

    I think there will most certainly be a female centaur. Female characters are daz' bread and butter and I doubt they  will miss the chance at what should be a simple conversion and which will allow for the sale to its core market

    I am all for that as long as there is the option to have her feminine and not a stocky warrior type only. I also want the transition to be getter, guess we'll have to wait and see. I was able to make my own female centaur with GF3 and the mil foal (in my DAZ gallery) and it came out exactly as i wanted
