Thanks for the references - you don't mind it being 'big'?

ETA: heheh - dingo ate the sheet music... must've been a slow piece, "adogio"? *ba-tish!* (^_-)

...that's looking great, you're fast. I'll try to see if I can find a better image of the strings. The pics I uploaded were off Google Pictures keywords: Steinway D Model.

Considering the beastie i now have polycount isn't as much of an issue as it used to be. Most of the scenes will just be Leela or Lela with one or two others (like "Momma Grande", her music teacher, or her "Bestest Friend" Tracey) in the pic with her.

I need to figure out how to create dioramas (like the MPC and environmental "playsets) so I can use a photo background of an orchestra (no way am I about to set up a 50 - 80 piece orchestra with individual figures, not even sure I can find all the different types of instruments needed without breaking the bank) when she's playing a major concerto.

The Rhapsody in Blue scenes at Carnegie Hall near the end will be a monumental challenge The ones that take place at the Musikverein in Vienna where she is abducted after going backstage will be a lot of "fun" too.

Think I can PM you something I use, a UV mapped square plane prop, 186K zipped ?
...thank you. I'm Still at the "infant" stage of modelling and mapping.

Can't PM the file as an attachment, Imessaging is run by a paranoid android I guess. Is easy enough on the Lightwave boards.Got any preferred/trusted file sharer service? File Convoy for example?

Wooly may have just disconnected from us for a bit to concentrate on getting some serious writing done (crosses fingers). I came to this conclusion after reading his last blog entry on Tuesday.
    http://redroom.com/member/edward-averill/blog/getting-published
With all the work stress he's been under lately, he may only be trying to cut back on distractions in order to work on getting one of his serious works closer to completion, and face it, we can be distracting.
After reviewing his comments in here, his earlier comments were less than 2 hours before his last one, and were all very positive.

Home and cooking! Already did a lemon-pepper burger for breakfast, and a chili-onion one for lunch. Dinner tonight is a beef, onion, salsa and egg scramble! Smells heavenly here!

Meh time: I have content money, things in my wishlist, but.. meh.. not going to buy anything not on sale until I need it. (blank face) Any leftover content money will to go towards the new i7 laptop I want!

All Modelo Dark, Tito's Vodka (made right here in Texas) and heavy metal! Life couldn't get better unless I won the lotto! (cool big grin)

Hoping the salsa is milder than the hot wings you've had later or tummy trouble and (cry cry cry) in your future. (worried emote)
    Sounds good, though (yum emote).

This is medium salsa, and it's more medium-low - a nip, not a real bite, should be no side effects. Tons of flavor, though - tomatoes, cilantro, and lime! (grin)

I made too much.. yaay leftovers! (dance emote)

Morning. Nose is all blocked up eeeow colds are teh horrible :>) Good morning - geez - get better soonest! (hot drink emote)

Dancing about leftovers, looking forward to vodka and music, wishing someone was feeling better - all sounds very benign.
Hopefully Wooly was just being dramatic about hitting the hay while being a little tipsy.

I haven't known some of you for very long. I thought that post sounded odd, that's why I asked if it was a movie quote or something...it kind of worried me.

I'm physically OK.. nothing wrong blood glucose wise at all. Just real, real stressed and suffered one of my bouts of depression that can happen when I get real emotional.

It's a long story and I won't bore you with it, but sometimes things inside my head get dark and I kind of go off.

    Sorry.

I think I'm going to take a few days and just go offline and chill.

    So, don't worry!

Thanks for the hello, Wooly! We can breathe again. I'm on meds for my depression, but it isn't a cure.
Decompress. We'll be here when you want us. We love you, and we'll miss you while you're "on leave".

    ...big relief.

Was playing "Nick Danger, Third Eye in the Case of the Missing Loach" for a good part of the morning here. If anything, think this upped my Google-Fu by more than a few notches. ; )

Definitely, take it easy, get some writing done, creative work is always the best mind and soul therapy. In case you need to talk about anything without posting n the forums, my PM line is always open.

I know this is what happens to me and is happening now. I often disconnect to concentrate on on illustration or other project.

If you mean the forums vs store account it's because their logins/cookies aren't fully integrated, which results in the borking of software. lol

I'll say this, the forums are buggy only when the Cloud Flair Servers are buggy. How can i know this? Because your NEVER really on the DAZ servers until the Cloud Flair PROTECTION front end sends your post, it's all cached on it and sent from them to DAZ and then from Daz to them and then to you. It all has a LAYER that is supposed to be invisible to the user but is not. In truth all the drop outs and such is caused by the front end and not the forums. That is why some folks never have a problem and others always do. The connection to the front end. It never happened very much until it was added. When it did happen the DAZ3D SITE was down for all users most times, not just buggy for some Users as it is now.

I'm Not a fan of OFF site protection, but IMHO this is the only reason I know of that could cause some to not have issues and others to have them all the time. The Connection to the Middle Man from your location. That I'm sure is Routed in some way for every user. In normal talk, with Cloud Flair as the front end, we are on a MIRROR of the Forums, if the Mirror times out before DAZ3D gets your Action UPDATE (post) then that is sent back as a error to the Mirror. It comes down to the ROUTE to the mirror and from the mirror to the Site then back to the mirror then back to you the user. IMHO way to many IP route switches are possible when done this way. This causes Time out issues for some users when they connect to some routers from their location. It is also the reason the same user can get a Good connection sometimes, because the Routers are dynamic and its the luck of the draw which are in low use mode and the user keeps getting that bad connection over and over. If it is in low use Logging out and then back in will still send your connection right back to the router with the lowest traffic.

That's My complaint: It happens to me Too but not often.
