:Let's face it, this isn't the worst thing you caught me doing it

    Ohhh

    Spoiler Alert
i knew it! why have jeff bridges in a movie if not to play the bad guy

wasn't jeff bridges Starman? Starman was a long time ago

so, Ironman isn't alien technology or god powers?
jarvis, the arc reactor, etc, it's basically Stark's family brain trust

uh oh, Pepper Pots in trouble. oh, and there's Agent Phil Coulson

...ahh, so you are cleared for the good stuff again?

Not really, but the Whataburger has 3 kinds of jalapenos: cooked, raw, and pickled. The pickled ones are actually mild-ish and don't offend, the cooked ones are pretty stout, and the raw ones will send you screaming into the bathroom the moment they touch your lips!

I''m going for a "light" pickled, add a bite but not too much.. and still no onions or tomato.

I'll only compromise so far...! Hey, I'm skipping beer and booze until I 'm off the dang pills, that's one heck of a sacrifice! (cry cry cry)

    Whataburger has some great burgers
...wish we had them up here. The closest is in Arizona. Long way to go for a good burger made with cheese.

All we have here are either the normal big chains (ugh) , Pubs (hit and miss), and "hoity toity" bistros with linen tablecloths and snooty waiters that charge absolutely outrageous prices. This is why I just decided it's better to make my own.

...but there are days when I'm out & about and really could go for a well made Burger with Cheese, a big slab of sweet onion, pickles, tomatoes and of course, bacon.

I hate to say it, but we're being over-run with nsnootyburger operations! They have local craft brews (good), but then eight-nine dollar burgers no better than a Whataburger! Needless to say, these places do NOT get my business!

Eight dollars for a burger with cheddar.. effing insane! My bacon cheddar burger with pickled jalapenos AND a huge garden salad (which lasts 2 meals) was just nine bucks with tax! Not cheap as McDs, ut a darn sight better! :-S

rather get the ingredients and make my own, (including the salad) works out to being a lot cheaper than 9 bucks per meal.

Leela's best friend Tracey would often sing Beatles songs for her. Leela loved them because they were nice love songs instead of the music of angst and hate that is so prevalent in her era.

No Sex Pistols tracks then

Love The Avengers. One of the very few movies I actually own - pretty re-watchable. It's no "Forbidden Planet" but I like it!

Ah, a lovely Saturday in Austin, Texas! Very warm but overcast, from what I see.

Slept until 11:30! Darn antibiotic is kicking my tail. But I can't complain, no real cramps last night, wheeee! Now to catch up on 2 weeks of very little sleep... :blank:

Minor grumble: left all my Daz downloads on a USB stick at the office, so had to re-download just now. Ugh - can't do without a WAR VIXEN render! Eyeball forest and screaming skull cliffs already installed, so should be good to go soon!

Lunch is 1/3lb Jimmy Dean pure pork sausage patty and 1//2 a HUGE Whataburger garden salad with voinegarette dressing! I hav eno idea how anyone could eat a whole one of these salads at one sitting, the darn thing is 2 meals for me and I'm no small person! Very tasty though - lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrot, cheese, and croutons. This and my morning cuppa is helping wake me up! Once this is xown, a nice glass of V8 for beta-carotene. Yum!

No plans this weekend except fr the promised WAR VIXEN render (heh). Otherwise, sleep, eat, drink water/V8/coffee/green tea, watch Travel Channel and Animal Planet, and GET WELL! :-)

I'll probably have a prelim WAR VIXEN render in a few hours.. going to put on my 30 hur classical playlist and get to work! Well, there will be a nap or two in there... :red: :red:

Everyone have a great weekend!

I don't normally go to theaters, but I'll make an exception for the next Avengers movie!

I wanted to go see R.I.P.D. but I'm too wonky to even make it outdoors today..sigh. I'll watch it when it's streamable from Amazon. I'll spend the money on chicken wings to be delivered tomorrow!

Thor was pretty decent.. I liked it. It was better than I expected, but I had pretty low expectations (lol)!

Olaf reminds me of Thor, if Thor were in his 40s and gone to seed, too much mead and wenching... heh!

I love mushroom swiss burgers. It's hard to find a good one around here. There used to be a place in my old city, years ago, called Burger Chef. They made a great mushroom swiss burger. I think Burger King either became them or bought them out. But they don't make the mushroom swiss burger, except on rare occasions. Oh, well.

Complaint: trying to find the stuff to construct a decent male lead character (needed for Argentum Noctis) is a pain! I see why people grouse about no mens stuff.. argh. Just need a decent-looking guy in his mid-30s for an occult steampunk adventure series.

It's easier to find the bits to make Olaf. And female characters, dang, it's an embarrassment of riches. No problems making Vicky the Protector, or the shield-maiden, or Rebecca Delacroix, or the Voudoun priestess Kayleigh.. simple. But a decent middle-aged dude? ARGH!!!

At least I found some prop sets on Rendo suitable for suburban New Orleans shots, whew! And I have all the bayou/swamp stuff I need for the outdoor scenes.

Amazing how easy it is to not buy things when you ask: "Does this work in any of my projects?" - no means NO PURCHASE. I might end up with money to put into savings next week (lolololol)!

My concept is - write the episode. Pick 2-3 critical scenes. Illustrate them. WAY less work than an entire Webcomic, but still uses my writing and (what little I have of) art skills. So I don't feel so bad about pouring tons of money into 3D, since I'm actually using some of it (lol)!

Ok, time to install the WAR VIXEN! And the Zombie pack for Genesis! WAR VIXENS, and eyeball forests, and zombies.. OH MY!! And somewhere in that whole mess, maybe tentacles, although the eyeballs are on tentacles.. hmmph.

Need to make a new runtime specifially to hold custom characters and props. Urgh. So much to do, so little coffee... :blank:

ps. ran across "Soul Catcher" on Rendo - poor girl, the only thing she's going to catch is a cold!!! :bug:
