I can see it. Have you logged out, cleared cache, logged in, done a refresh?

...yes even updated java and still nothing. When I went to check my add ons I noticed I have FF22.0 installed to the notebook This must have occurred when I turned on auto updates for a while to snag some MS ones so I wonder if it is something ver. 22 isn't liking about the forum software.

NM. Memory failure. Reboot. Yep. I was able to return to previous versions of FF when I was using it, maybe you know how to do that.
Also: Even auto updates should always ask for permission. Who wants it to happen when they're trying to use the computer?

...no, they show up fine on the workstation but not the notebook.. Have no idea of how to roll back to 20.0.

[just had a momentary outage and had to restart everything again]

It's kind I like I get half of what I need on one system and the other half on the other. I rechecked the basic settings in the tools/Options menu and everything is exactly the same between both machines so I don't know why I am getting different results. Adblock has the same preferences, Better Privacy has the same settings, Flashblock has the same settings.

I don't think it is Stylish as that is only affecting DA to block the annoying "View more like this" feature (and it doesn't block the smilies there). As a matter of fact this is the only site where I get the text rather than the actual graphic.

As to the misdirecting issue on the notebook when I try to submit or view a post I have absolutely no clue since again all the basic browser and security settings are the same on both systems.

Um hehe yes a naked ape not really the same :)

...OK something really really stupid is going on now as the text to an entire post which I entered simply kept vanishing with nothing showing up either in the submitted post or the preview window.

It is getting late and THIS IS REALLY GETTING ME IRRITATED!

With the web console opened after clicking Submit Post on both systems I saw to different sets of instructions on the two machines.

I am unable to reproduce the actual code from the web console here, either by pasting or even manually typing it in using the "code" tags as for some reason doing so apparently conflicts with the forum software which kept resulting in the blank post. I would think "text is text" but it seems not the case in this instance so I have to try and explain it verbally (which I'm not really good at concerning this kind of stuff).

On the notebook where everything went fine the final instruction and the normal posting operation is carried through with the software assigning the value of "whitelisted" to the "status" variable

On the Workstation it inserts the statement "customer account index" for a variable "class' (which does not appear in the successful operation on the notebook) after which it then assigns the value of "whitelisted" to the "status" variable. From what I can tell, this is most likely the cause of the constant redirects. and failure of the forum software to post a response. I have no Idea what could be triggering this as again all my FF and add on settings match on both systems.

It's now 04:45 and I'm really frustrated and tired from all this. Will most likely end up sleeping half my day away tomorrow. I am at the end of my rope with this whole mess as I cannot find anything amiss with my feeble knowledge of this junk. I'm not a bloody IT specialist, I just use these stupid things however, it's beginning to seriously get in the way of what I'm trying to do here creatively.

Time to try and get some sleep provided I can unwind from all I've been dealing with tonight.

    KK,

It sounds like either a cache or cookie issue. I'd try clearing both.

Also, try switching browsers to see if it's actually a FF issue. If you're seeing issues in IE as well then it may be something on your router or with your ISP.

As a note you should be able to be logged in to GMail on multiple machines with no issues. I check mine using Thunderbird on my main PC, the mail app on my phone and the browser on my tablet and all 3 can be connected at the same time. It might log you out on one machine if you login on the other from the same IP but even so it should still let you connect.

Finally, a swimsuit that you might actually see on the beach - Be Pacific.

This was used in the G2F Pinup pose promos and I think it's a perfect fit for those 40's-50's style pinups. I could see this being used on a model for nose art on a bomber.

Render time was 15 minutes or thereabouts. IDL light, DS stone shaders for the cliff and ground plane, Poisons Tentacles from Rendo, Poisons Eyeball Garden from Rendo, IDL Sky from Predatron Skies of Reality.

    Tentacles make cool-looking plants.

Complaint: trying to find the stuff to construct a decent male lead character (needed for Argentum Noctis) is a pain! I see why people grouse about no mens stuff.. argh. Just need a decent-looking guy in his mid-30s for an occult steampunk adventure series.

It's easier to find the bits to make Olaf. And female characters, dang, it's an embarrassment of riches. No problems making Vicky the Protector, or the shield-maiden, or Rebecca Delacroix, or the Voudoun priestess Kayleigh.. simple. But a decent middle-aged dude? ARGH!!!

What exactly are you looking for? Clothing, hair or just a properly aged character?

Mainly a decent upper-middle-age character. I have steampunk clothing for M4, even decent gear, but most of my M4 characters aren't upper-middle age (which is where Adam Clayton, the hero, is).

Maybe I just need to look more.. I'm kind of out of it today.. but all my current M4 men are in their mid to late 20s/early 30s, not upper 30s/early 40s.

How about Aged for M4/V4? Check out thumbnail #6.

And for hair, there's Mature Mark Hair.

    Just some thoughts. :)

Thanks! I'm on the hunt for male goodies for my heros!

    ...OK complaint time:

#1. Still can't sign in to Gmail on the workstation. I enter the correct username and password but keep getting a mismatch error. I've made sure i wasn't signed in with the notebook at the same time so there wouldn't be a conflict, but it still occurs.

#2. Still keep getting misdirected to my bleedin' account page when I try to post a comment in the forums on the Workstation . I have the same version of FF (20.0) which is set up the same there as it is on my notebook with the same add ons & plugins, so I have no idea why this keeps happening. Also the look of the forums there seems a bit different than it does on the notebook which makes absolutely no sense at all.

I get #2 once out of every 5-6 posts on Chrome. It's pestiferous!!!!!

I hope you can resolve your Gmail issue, sheesh! :blank:
