...bugger, tried to post this from the Workstation but the stupid site software keeps mis-directing me to my account page there (and that has the best connection). So had to deal with transferring the main post and pic to the notebook.

Fresh out of the render oven here's the own I've been working on. Still a WIP but getting there.

V5 with a fair dose of V4 head shape as my Lady Meg (Leela's adoptive mother).

Found this lovely indoor pool set freebie (a complete structure in .obj format) over on Share CG. Had to re-texture the walls because the mosaic tiles kept creating a bothersome moray pattern. The Union Jack I added myself by simply applying the flag texture to a plane primitive and then adding a bump map with he Fabricator.

Her swimsuit is Sickle Yield's Classic Swimwear with the flag motif applied.

    -----

[edit]...bugger, just realised the flag on the wall is inverted will have to fix that. Be back in a while.

    Distress?

That was my second guess. I've got to install Bryce on my new comp and get back into it. It was always my go-to renderer for years, starting with Bryce 3D ("It moves.")

Complaint: Just spent 2 hours driving in rush hour traffic (and in Atlanta we're serious about our rush hour).

Non-Complaint: Did that so I could pick up our new puppy. He's actually 2 but he's still very puppyish and he's never seen a stranger - just friends he hasn't met yet.

A bit out of focus and with then requisite glowy eyes but you get the idea...

    Awww teh cuteh :)

...happy hour calls. Got to get out for a while when the pic I'm rendering is done. Spent a good part of the day retexturing parts of a freebie model I found. Still need to fix a few small odd things (wish there was a control that let you rotate texture tiles as well)

It's called StitchWitch. I think you can do that. I know you can move them. Yes, I'm pretty sure you can rotate them.

I'm familiar with this Atlanta place....can't confirm or deny anything else.

Will say that I switched to working close to work and got past the GA400 traffic. Life is much better now.

Not saying you're using GA400, but the concept applies. Not everyone can just move though....

    ...listening to classic Beatles albums.

Leela's best friend Tracey would often sing Beatles songs for her. Leela loved them because they were nice love songs instead of the music of angst and hate that is so prevalent in her era.

..well, it's been a long evening

time to say goodnight (and good morning to those on the other side of the world)

I'll leave with the singular most beautiful work by Mr Chopin.

Leela performs this as her final encore during her debut concert in London.and it brought the audience to tears.

    Berceuse by Frederic Chopin.

Good night and pleasant dreams all.

You wouldn't believe it, but I did 3 weeks work experience in a aged care facility just over a year ago, and one of the residents there was I kid you not a member of the Beatles management team. She moved to my town from Sydney, and wow she has heaps of photos and stories.

He's a mix of Papillion and Pomerainian. Very playful and bouncy.

Fortunately, I work from home and my wife either works from home or travels to client sites. So usually only have to deal with traffic to and from the airport or Marta depending on times.

Yesterday was to make a drive out to pick up the puppy. The worst was about 5 miles on 85 N at 5:00. It was as usual a parking lot instead of an interstate.

Well that and the guy that just pulled over from the center lane into the right lane I was in with no warning. He then moved from the right lane all the way to the left lane a block later all while chatting away on his cell phone.
