speaking about business.. I need to fix Windows XP, again. AFter I installed service pack 3 Windows would not start correctly. I had to boot into safe mode and use system restore to delete service pack 3. I wasted two hours. :ohh: Maybe I should buy Windows Vista 64 bit. lol Nah, a new computer would be better.

...I'd suggest just going to Win7 64. Vista is that red headed stepchild.

I am thinking of getting my notebook computer looked at. I think the only problem it has is a bad hdd.

Without the hard drive working, a laptop is just a fancy looking paperweight.

I understand and I would like to use the laptop again.
..I installed a new HDD in my notebook after the old one died. Not very difficult. Just make sure you either have already backed up what you had on the old system or have the original system restore disk.

I've noticed a real oddball thing in the forum recently (no, not you peeps). I was trying to post a reply to something the other day, and when I clicked on Preview Post, it took me to the My Account Dashboard. TILT! :bug: It did this several times. I copied the whole text to the clipboard, cancelled my reply, and started a new one. Then it worked. The Demon Magento works in mysterious ways?

...yeah been having the same occur again as well. Total pain in the bum.

You'd think after 22 months this issue would have been fixed by now.

A drawing I was working on for someone that I picked up again recently. Maaaan drawing lush environments is hard, all the leetle things... Makes me miss Vue and stuff :B

Big missing space, hid the layer that was there since I got complaints about posting stuff like that here before, but really wanted to share my first Biguana drawing still, also the jungle :)

    .

Not bad. Layer? Oh, that's right, you have a pen tablet, right?

You must show us when it's done!

radio is bombarding advertising for plays. 'Wicked' sounds interesting. some kind of spin on W o Oz. 'kinky boots'. not so sure about the

    Rocky musical. 'Rocky'?

whatever happened to Dolph? he was a bad guy in that movie with keanu reeves. was the last i saw of him.

hmm Buzzards Bay? i wonder why they call it that.

The name was given to this bay by colonists who saw a large bird that they called a buzzard near its shores. The bird was actually an osprey, and, after a downturn caused by DDT, today increasing numbers of osprey breed along the shores of the bay thanks to restoration efforts led by the Buzzards Bay Coalition and longtime Westport residents Gil and Josephine Fernandez.

...it did, came out pretty well in the percentile and rankings. The results of this evaluation are being used more and more by employers. this will count well in my job search/development reports.

Long day though, started at 06:30 (long bus ride to the Worksource Centre). Three separate tests, took until 14:30. Long bus ride back, almost dozed off several times. Took a nap after I got home. Had to deal with fast food for lunch as that is all one can find out in the burbs, not used to that stuff much anymore.

Going to meet with a couple friends to watch the game later today (Wisconsin vs. Baylor).

complaint: these online games are huge. :gulp: The game has lots of data for the 3D terrains, objects, characters and zombies. The music and voice files must be big too.

This game was on sale last week for 45% off $40. I missed the sale. Maybe I'll buy the game from Amazon.com for $31.99. At least I'll save about $8. The version that I am playing now is the free demo.

I think an 18 inch long rat (and that's not counting the tail) would rather terrorise anytjhing or anyone.

General complaint. Why does increasing you raytrace bounce increase render time so drastically. I understand what it does but don't make it any less annoying. I increased from 2 to 3. My render time was 22 minutes and now is 55 minutes. All for WIPS

...mid 50s and once again windy here today. For some it's the snow that doesn't seem to want to leave, for me it's day after day of strong wind along with on & off rain. Hard to keep a hat on. A brolly is no good on days like this as it gets turned inside out or bent up so badly it becomes useless.

..increasing the ray bounce increases the number of calculations that the CPU needs to make
