    Glowy hot pinks and deep purples at sunset tonight, still hot and muggy as the sun disappears. Will be doing a little mosquito zapping under our back verandah tonight :)

    I went to a steam room but it was too steamy. I went to a sauna but it was too hot and dry.

    Eventually I gave up looking at/counting the similarities, and tried to find Differences!
    Words like 'Clones', .. 'Re-incarnation' come to mind... :)

    ...Complaints

    woke again up with a sore throat (worse than yesterday), cough, and stuffed up head.

    Temps only in the 40s with off and on rain. Never made it to the job fair as sniffling, coughing, and sneezing is not the way to make a good impression on a prospective employer. Out of Theraflu, so need to brave the raw cold weather to go the the chemist's for some more.

    Stupid bad timing to get sick.


    Non Complaints:

    Spoke with the landlady and fixes are underway. Turned out one of the culprits was the gutter and downspout on the house's main porch which was all clogged up and not angled right so it was pouring water over onto the ground next to my stairwell. Our next door neighbour (who is a private contractor) fixed that and next will work on sealing the stairwell wall, improving the drainage on the lower landing, and replacing the rotted threshold. Both the landlady and he like the idea of a roof over the stairs with it's own gutter, downspout, and drain as well so that looks like a go as well. Our neighbour also agreed with my idea about creating the "french drain" in the gravel path so rainwater would flow to the street instead if seep into the ground next to the house.

    Just in time for these projects, weather looks to improve greatly starting Sunday with highs in the mid 60s and mid 70s by midweek.

    I haven't gotten into Genesis 2, so didn't bother getting the freebie, and totally forgot today was April 1st.

    I probably should've guessed, considering the name of the product. ~ROFLMAO~
