Giselle has been announced on the rotating banner on the New Releases page. Coming May 12th!

It doesn't give a specific day and just stated later this week. You also have the problem that the other Items in the promo have not been released yet so it could have been sent out by mistake.

I think Novica is referring to the promo on the New releases page of store, is a big green promo called: Seize the adventure. The first words are "Starting May 12, at 12am (MST)"

I was going by the email they sent out and not the rotating banner. So the sale starts Monday which would have Giselle come out on Thursday.

Prepare for a wallet siege. She is coming.

Well, from looking around the wiki, I feel like she is probably going to be a fantasy type morph, seeing as there are quite a few unreleased "fae" items, and as someone pointed out earlier there was a placeholder for Fallen Fae poses for Giselle. This is something I would certainly welcome in my runtime. I also stumbled upon something for a certain anime girl >.>

    Tram-tam-tam-tam... AIKO IS BACK? :P

Can you share the pages you scouted please?

    Aiko?! :cheese:
The page is gone, but the product was called "Xiao Mei’s Finery HD for Aiko 6 and Genesis 2 Female(s)"

As I'm in a mischievous mood, I'll tease a bit. A much more interesting product would be XIAO-XIAO's Finery. I'm afraid I cannot link up to the proper page here (which should have aroused your interest by this point), but Google is your friend and I'm sure that, if you use "Madame Xiao-Xiao" keywords, you'll learn what - or who - I'm referring to. %-P

Good news, I was afraid I'd have to go through the other one! I found it seconds ago after reading your post, so great thanks. The morph is delightful, it's very sad it is unavailable now :(. Still, she looks nothing like Madame Xiao-Xiao I'm referring to %-P. If you're curious, search.

Damn, I got no newsletter! Ekhem. I was active and made like four orders in the past two weeks - still, no foreshadowing! And they can send me like four messages "For your contributions, we want to show our gratitude and appreciation with coupon...", you know the pattern. UGH! Is it possible to show it please?

Oh god that adventure jacket and new Deviny stuff

  • edited December 1969

I really wish Daz would discover a new phoneme to start their characters with. Back in the V3-V4 era, every character started with something different, except Luke and Laura.

    Now we have:

    Gia
    Giann
    Gisselle
    Josie
    and Jayden

Fully half the current generation of characters start with the same sound. I expect before too long we'll see Jack, Jennifer, Jane, George, Gypsy, and Jet.

I wish they'd just use different names. Among others: Gia - a character and unrelated hair. Candace - for Steph 5 and a completely different character for V6. Not to mention Maja and Maia both for G2F.

    It is like GEEZ...!

Generally speakinG, G/J phoneme does not Guarantee the fiGure will be reGarded as Great. DAZ is beinG outstandinGly Generous with G and J as if it brouGht Great Joy upon their desiGners. The fudden Generosity of showerinG of their customers with such phonemes is Jaw-droppinG. DAZ urGes us to reJoice with Gia, Gianni, Girl, Jayden, Josie and very soon Giselle. The Grandeur of this action sounds like a widely-ranGed proJect.

Thanks for the newsletter link, it worked smoothly. Giselle looks like a not-so-skilful blend of A5, G6 and Josie, but I will refrain from judgements until she is officially out.

Hmm. That probably doesn't bode well for the upcoming Gary, Gabby, Gregor, Gertie, Grunthilda, Goober, Gomer, Gubb-Gubb and the DAZ Gherkin Morphing Genesis Pickle Bundle, does it?

Still, it's better than the upcoming Gen 7 products, which I've heard will all start with "Pth" (Ptheter, Pthnelope, Pthaul, Pthaula and Pthnelope confirmed) or Gen 8, which are rumored to start with a wet hacking cough.

Who? I seem to have forgotten about her. Must be an old character if she doesn't have a G or J in her name.

I haven't forgotten her! She's a prettiest one... maybe that's why she got the special name. =)

I'm not entirely certain whether Giselle is a new Daz character or not. There is already a Giselle character available from Adam Thwaites, on either his Digital Creations site or Rendo. I will admit that it's not often we see fits added for 3rd party figures like that, but it's a consideration at least.

Guys, thank you for such a... pardon, Joyful and Generous response :D. Seriously, it is a bad marketing habit. If you cannot differentiate your product, how do you expect your customers will?

They don't want you to differentiate - they want you to buy them all.
