So it's a Rezcasaurus instead of a copy of your model. It's wonderful, and it's all YOU. :)
...nice work.
2nd attempt, and I'd be fortunate to have something resembling an "unintentional" minimalist abstract sculpture.
(...well it kinda has a head, something that looks like a body, and those things sticking out could be arms...)
A return to that shop! Nice work!

And one for day
Also nice.

Good work!

Uh... Reld's spines are suddenly showing up neon green when I render him. The only change made was I updated Daz this morning (because I didn't have geometry editor and I wanted to make part of the wall transparent behind the doors I put in Sam's room). I have no idea why they are now showing up green. I even recreated his look (saved character preset but not material) and even that is coming up neon green.
It's not a bug...it's a feature!

Huh... bring in a brand new set of the spines, renders normal (in fire drake red). Change the diffuse map to grey scale image, neon green.

How green are we talking here?
Maybe you could work it into being a special ability of his, or the result of some magical accident while he was playing a prank on someone
Yeah sorry if what I said wasn't too helpful, just trying to lighten the mood a bit... Always sucks when things go wrong and the cause isn't easily identifiable :(

Originally this sculpt was just going to be some random thing, but it is a goal of mine to get a 3D version of some of my figurines to play with. When it finally does come to that, accuracy will matter! ...To an extent :P

BRIGHT neon green.
i've seen that display case. not a pc item, was on my w/l for a lil while. i'll remember ...
it wasn't part of a set, ...
hmm, thought it might have been a Merlin item. it was a display case for swords, ketanas and the like.
I managed to find a shader that works in 'fixing' the neon green, but it's not going to match my previous images. And if it's doing this for Reld, I bet it's going to happen to my big wyrm, as I did the exact same trick for him. /facepalm
can you post a screen cap of the shade mixer window with the spikes selected?
maybe the green is in a channel that's hidden. ambient can do wonky stuff
...as I mentioned, I had the hair of one character continually render red when all the surface colour values were set for blue. No Idea how that occurred either
I hate thunder.
I found this to be highly amusing.
nice results too :)

highlight color gone toxic?
t rex has destroyed a warrior
it's the lightning to be careful of
It's the weirdest thing. It's only 'that' particular grey scale image that cause Reld's spines to glow neon. I've tried a couple others and they work fine. Even found one close enough to work for me.
it's the lightning to be careful of
How can there be thunder without lighting?
i'm done reading that pc beta thread. iz a headache. gonna browse rmp clearance stuff until that gives me a headache :)
called sputinos to order a pepperoni pizza, my voice came out a squeak. i hope they heard the pepperoni part. allergy misery. woes.
i hear thunder rumbles oft times, but don't see lightning. may the lightning stays up in the clouds?
I don't see any storms near New York City or Huntington or even Connecticut.
edit: I just checked some websites that show weather for Huntington.
edit 2: I think I misread your post Misty. Sorry.
no worries :)
i was responding to miss kulay, read her post as i was typing.
iz a pretty sky from here today
sigh, nothing on my w/l is in impulse buy range.
saw a cute hammock set on rmp on clearance. LJ_Outdoor Luxury.
knock,knock
hello, did someone say pepperoni?
highlight color gone toxic?
...I thought the same as well so I flagged that character's hair for Primitive Hitmode for all the lights in the scene and it still came out red.
Looked over all the surface channels and nothing indicated why this was happening. several of the other characters in the scene use the same hair with pretty much the same settings and it all rendered OK on them. After over an hour making minute adjustments and running spot renders ended up resetting the hair map to the basic colour I started with, redid the colour adjustments and it rendered fine after that. The only thing I can think of is that some setting became corrupted after I saved the character as a scene subset then then merged him into the the main scene.

...a biker gang on a bunch of Harley Chopper's riding by outside?
...a military jet hitting it's afterburners.
...looked at part of it, really seems more complicated than it's worth, particularly since I am on such an extremely tight budget and even an 18$ purchase is a lot of money right now just to use a 6$ coupie.
