The Blah Blah Yada Yada Complaint Thread
...ugh woke up to more rain this morning. Been a damp couple days and not only are the joints aching again, but a recurrent pinched nerve in my back decided to flare up again overnight (must have turned funny in my sleep).
These drab cloudy days tend to make me feel more tired because it is so dark. Didn't even leave the house yesterday.
Sun is out right now but can't say exactly for how long. Would like to go socialise but back aches too much to ride a bike and the way things have gone I could suddenly find myself caught in a downpour.

Recurring nightmare that I don't know how to use software I use any more, anxiety waaah
No work for me for a few days now yay :)
complaint: tablet cannot connect to the wireless router. It has an IP address that starts with 169 instead of 192. Uhh...?? Let me reboot the tablet. Then maybe I should remove the saved profile and manually connect to the router.
Question - I have Look at My Hair but am clueless on how to use it to make hair/fur. I noticed that there is a different hair system on discount
I want to make a dog similar to this breed for my story
But should I try again with Look at My Hair or buy this other hair system? (and I intend for this to be used in Daz only) Has anyone used either product?
awwww teh cute :) You could do that with either or any of the hair solutions going around. Take a look at the furry things website and see if there is a preset you can use http://www.furrythings.com and DL the manual before you buy another one, they all do more or less the same thing and have more or less the same features :)
All that happened is your tablet grabbed an ip number from another DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) server - next door neighbours? - when it booted up last
V6 Base is free through the weekend.
ommage to Alfred Hitchcock? :)
i haz a mental image of vicki posing in a luscious cheesecake, cheesecake angels
in the old windows dhcp days, cmd: ipconfig with a slash renew would force a new ip address negotiation
Can a guy be a Drama King? Inquiring minds wanna know.

The Poke Misty Til She Complains Thread ... ;-)
in another thread there's a discussion about calling oneself a "3D Illustrator" or "Animator" (with passing references to the age-old argument about "is it art?", or "am I an Artist?"). While not having a sufficiently strong point of view to post anything useful over there, I thought I might ruminate publically here a bit to see if anyone has a similar feeling as me. I suppose I'm wondering if there's any actual Formal Training involved to become a "3D Illustrator" or "Animator" -- and hence when somebody who is self-taught or "outside the system" pops up naming themselves as such, those who are "qualified" get understandably nervous. Much the same I suppose with people who call themselves "IT Technician" or "Computer Engineer", and then proceed to get your machine into even more trouble (>_<). If it's a "free for all", ie the "results will speak for themselves" and anyone can call themselves such (and therefore 'buyer beware' - snake oil salesmen ahead ;-) ) then there is no grounds for complaint. However, if there _is_ some expectation on the part of the General Public about what skills a "3D Illustrator" should have, then I guess there should be grounds for concern (assuming those expectations haven't been met - of course I have no idea about the people involved and what they know / have done / are qualified for). Should a "3D Illustrator" be able to trot out discussions and opinions about 3-point lighting, use of Depth of Field blur, efficient means of rendering on a 2Gig machine, etc etc... or is it enough just to be able to make pretty pictures within an allotted timeframe on a particular theme.</p>
Hmmmm...
Absolutely, there is no gender monopoly on creating a problem to be the centre of attention fixing it
Story update.
