...never thought of Australia as a place for snow.

Also checked the link to the other article about the snow. So is this the official means for measuring snow depth?
Or a good way to chill a bottle. :)

I tend to regard all this violence of nature being utterly cool, a wild storm makes me feel alive and stimulates me, love thunderstorms and all that, only,, the disaster and fatal danger parts tends to be a bitsy troubling,,, :-S

Pfffff, where to start, I used to have a little money problems (like most, or all people on this planet), which demotivated me to a druggy zomby existance, as an idiologist I work for pleasure, and when I'm forsed, I don't want to, but those problems where solved, so now I'm raging through the arts, blasting in a band on a basguitar, making all sorts of crazy psychedellic sounds on a guitar in an other band, helping someone with a book who is a fan of the artists in my family, just finnished a bio-parapschychological animation show for a VJ festifal next week, and installing my new sound studio in my attic, my only problem is that so many people assosiate me with parties, that I need to cramp all kinds of sociolising in between stuff, and of coarse I'm still angry that the world does not join me in an orgy of euphoric happyness, ah well, working on that,,, :)

I'm a little jealous of everyone else making their stories and stuff come to life with their renders, while I'm just sitting here daydreaming about mine but never doing anything

I wouldn't be able to recreate some of my dragons with the Mil3 I don't think... Well, not accurately at any rate. Rezca actually I think I could probably get close, with some additional modifying on my part, but he'd be missing a toe on his hindlegs.
Pft, and then there's other dragons that are important to the lore in my world and stories, but I haven't really thought much about what they look like! *flails*

Like... Jiri! My magic-eating dragon I put so much thought and love into making, and I only have a *vague* idea of what she looks like! ><

And that's just the dragons. There's people and things too, and places? ><
Though I don't think many would be interested anyway. We've got Fyre as the resident storyteller so :)

Anyways. Spent a little more time on my drag... I mean dinosaur, today. Started on them feet :)
Though I made a pretty big mistake by putting in one too many joints during the mesh creation process. Five instead of four. Eep, dunno how I'll go about fixing that mistake hah.

It can be just a genetic anomaly!

    Dana

Ehh a pretty major one, that I don't really feel comfortable with keeping around.

Putting in one too many joints would be about as silly as putting in one too few I think hehe.
Pretty much a human like leg setup there in the lower corner heh, three poses instead of four. Dinosaurs walked on their toes, so if you knocked down the number of pivots from four to three you'd pretty much have how our legs work :) Their heels are always up in the air and not on the ground like ours our. We have such boring feet!

Because we don't normally walk on our toes doesn't mean we can't. We still have that ability. We're just more stable with the heel down. We don't have a big tail to help with balance and stability.

    Dana
I don't know, some people have fairly large tails.

    Keep it PG, now! ;-)

We're OK thanks, hehe that one sure got an adrenalin rush going, sounded like a very big train shaking everything as it rolled over - no thunder and lighting tho. It got real dark in the middle of the day and the sun didn't come back until just before nightfall, a bizarre bit of normal at the time cos it was real bright and you could see real good how trashed everything is  Whisky Tango Foxtrot is disappointing that people died when walls fell on them, getting to be a habit there must be something going wrong somewhere there :)

Raining off and on here as well, is kinda normal sounding after a dramatic day. Hey all the wind noise would make for great dragon breaths

ah.. flight to Australia leaves at night. I don't know if I can sleep on a noisy airpane flying over the Pacific ocean. Plus, I need to find a small laptop that can run Daz Studio and Bryce for the long flight. Oh yeah, I need a tourist visa too.

I need to get used to the phrase "on holiday" 240 volt electricity and metric system too.

I'm not leaving for Sydney yet.. I just wanted to see the price and the duration of the flight.

yes, I'll need to fly from BWI or Washington National to Los Angeles first. I couldn't find any flights non-stop flights out of Dulles. I'm planning see Los Angeles or Long Beach before I continue onto Australia anyways. Maybe I'll work on my tan too. :p

...if t you take the Ascela (Amtrak) to NYC you can get a direct one stop flight (no change of plane with only a stopover in LA) on Quantas. This fight would be on a 747-400 all the way with Quantas' signature inflight service.

From DC (Dulles) you can take Virgin America/Virgin Australia which, and since you would be connecting to/from a Virgin overseas flight, there would be no baggage fees for the domestic portion of the flight between Dulles and LA.

To make a multi-city trip would cost more than just a straight round trip flight. I would recommend consulting a professional travel agent as it is a lot more tricky to do online. If you do so, make sure it is on a single itinerary, that way you can not only waive domestic baggage fees which could add up to 200$ or more to the trip if you use two separate round trip tickets but any penalties should a flight delay occur that would cost you to miss a connection.

There was an episode where it was thought the Daleks were defeated when it came to stairs but then they began to fly and continued their pursuit.
