I don't trust other people to pick out our fruit and vegetables. I don't think grocery delivery people have the same priorities I do for picking produce.

how do you know if the motherboard is 32 bit or 64 bit?
my brother in law is a Mac guy. he keeps saying logic board, isnt that the same thing as a motherboard. apple so proprietary, i can iagine they solder the cpu to the mother board. he saying he's gonna replace the logic board on his old mac. he wants to get old baby picturees off the old hard drive.
...check the BIOS.
Complaint: Arghhh... Fans & RGB. My three new, lighted, 120mm, case fans arrived today. I thought I was ordering RGB type but they're ARGB (Adressable RGB) and require a different socket on the motherboard. Unfortunately the motherboard in the computer with the window into which I had wanted to put the gaudy lights has an RGB socket but not an ARGB socket. The case for that computer already had two 3-pin, "single speed"*, front fans that light up white (by power alone and don't need RGB) but I wanted to replace them with the RGB fans and move the white fans to the front of the other computer to give a little bit of interest to it by being able to see faint white circles behind the dark, front air filters. (*sigh*) but that a ain't a gonna work. Bah humbug.
Non-complaints: (1) I've now learned the difference between RGB and ARGB lighting. Yay! More knowlege.
(2) I had a box of RGB light strips (3 strips each about a foot long) so I wired them up and distributed them around the inside edges of the case, and now there are enough lights visible through the window. Yay!
(3) Fortunately, my other computer (the one without the window) has a better motherboard and it has both RGB and ARGB types of lighting pins so I can replace the single, non-lighted, front fan in it and replace it with two of the new ARGB colored fans in the front of the computer instead of using the simple white ones as per my original plan. And as a bonus, through the programming for these new lights I can set the fan lights to any color I want. So, now both of my new machines have pretty lights in them. One through the sidepanel, and one through the front air intakes. Ooh.... colors...
(4) in the process of playing this game of musical chairs with the fans I ended up with a couple of spare 120mm fans. One 3-pin, "single-speed", no lights, fan. And one 4-pin, "variable speed"** fan with Adressable RGB lighting. Wheee, more stuff to squirrel away in my parts boxes.
A final Complaint: During this process I didn't have all the right cables to share all the RGB devices in the windowed case (sex incompatabilities) so I had to give up my spinning RGB CPU cooler fan's lights. But I've got the cable gender-bender adapter on order so I'll get that working too in a few days.
Wheee, this is so much fun. But sitting for hours hunched over my computers isn't doing my back any favors.
(Note: After all is said and done, both computers have ended up with two 120mm, lighted fans in front. And a single, un-lighted, 120mm, exhaust fan at the back.)
*"single-speed" := 3-pin power plug, limited range of speed variation, controlled by voltage.
**"variable-speed" := 4-pin power plug, full range of speed variation, controlled by width of power pulses (i.e. PWM)
A Ponderable: Is the fine mesh screen that covers large openings in a computer case called an "air filter" or a "dust filter"? It's the air that is filtered but it's the dust that is removed (i.e. filtered out).
Motherboards aren't either - just about anything that is in a still functioning machine is likely to support a 64-bit OS, assuming there are drivers (specific or generic) for its chipsets.
Is Monday a holiday? I'm trying to change my cell phone provider and I can't find out much info about my application.

A British man whom I entertained some time ago and will have nothing to do with me now, spoke to me about American football once. He said he wondered why such big men had to wear padding to play rugby.
Now my mother occasionally tells me the story of when she and her siblings were participating in a vegetable growing contest and her brother submitted an eggplant. He did not win any awards except for the consolation prize they gave to everybody. She says it was because he submitted an eggplant and nobody cares about those.

...one would think that while the forums were down for so long last night into the wee monring hours, they would have found a bit of time to fix a few things, like the ongoing issue with double posts.
Non-complaint: Quiet elegance. I woke up this morning with an earworm floating around in my head. I kept hearing the quiet elegance of this, beginning at 12:22
When hearing this in concert (or anytime you really pay attention) you hear each and every note make its distinct appearance and advance the weaving of the musical tapestry being created. Slowly, methodically, it drifts into your psyche like snowflakes at night, falling under a streetlight, gently rearranged again and again by a parade of competing subtle breezes. So f'n beautiful. I won't tell you when it ends, you decide when to stop listening.

I either want a cupcake or take a nap. However I need to do something useful instead.

I got an email the other day saying I had some type of credit for the Express store that would be expiring by end of this month. Problems I had is that I can't go shopping at a real store right now. (Main reason is Covid and second reason is COVID-19 and the third reason is that I am pretty much broke and I think a 4th reason is that they closed down the closest Express store.) Another problem is that I have no valid debit card so I can't afford shipping nad handling for a "free" item. (Well can't afford a non-free item with shipping and handling anyway)
I left the web store with something in my cart. Today I got an email saying today only I get free shipping on one order. I went to the express website and found a pair of cute light blue pants that is both eligible for the credit and the new coupon. I tried checking out and had some difficulty with the first try. Mainly user error for closing the browser too soon.
I spent some time with the chat support of Express to figure out why I can't check out. They wanted me to use a different web browser and their app to try to check out. Both ways didn't show the pants I wanted. I gave up looking in the other browser as I had too many problems with the app finding the right pair of pants.
I decided forget those pants and to go back to my email to get the promo code for free shipping. Before I found the promo code again, I found an order confirmation email. Apparently the reason that I can't find the pants in the cart on the other browser or in the app was that they were already checked out. So I got a pair of pants originally for $79.90 for free in the end.
I normally hate clothes shopping because I don't understand clothing prices. I don't know why anyone would spend about 80 dollars on just one pair of pants with no extra texture options and only fits one size. G8F gets it easier and cheaper. Her outfits fits pretty much all sizes of G8F and can comes with extra texture options with more to choose from in add on packs. Also her clothing is so much cheaper than 80 per pants.
but where is the anykey?
No clue
