I think it improved you typing LOL normally you have at least 2 typo's and this time none...lol
Thanks for the explanation. Sounds pretty tasty. Also, that was one scary statue. Glad they replaced it.
In other news, this game that I'm playing scared the bejeezus out of me. It's recommended that you use headphones during it, and now I know why. At one point it sounded like someone was knocking on my window. I got up and looked out all my windows (carefully and with an improvised weapon) but there was nothing. Turns out it was from the game, but it was really convincing! Since then there have been scratching noises, doors creaking, and a woman sighing right next to me. I don't know how they managed to make the sounds this convincing. It's pretty impressive for a low rent game with tons of typos.
Just bought another 1000ft of paracord, but wont be here till at least may 7. Lumber prices are like double now, was going to do some renovations till I saw the price lol.
Looking at the front page of that site, it looks like Johnny's puts the same stuff on everything except the milkshakes! Looks good, though!
However, it seems they don't want too many people making noise in there..."we are limiting the number of customers aloud" The rest of the customers need to wisper?

Still no pictures of the Lucy decor but I did find a Buffalo TV station story about the restaurant. Oh, and I may be mistaken about the other two "Texas Hot" places in Jamestown. They are "AJ's Texas Hots" and I can find no link between them and "Johnny's". But they do have Lucy decor. Which is not too unusual for here in Jamestown.
For a good part of a week in the Summer, the city is inundated with "I Love Lucy" fans who come here for what we locals call "Lucy Week". https://www.iloveny.com/event/the-lucille-ball-comedy-festival/49806/
And of course I can't forget to mention the new National Comedy Center complex and its annex in the old Erie Railroad Station in Jamestown. Wonderful, large, modern museum & archive.

Speaking of typos, that statue site said the Scary Lucy is on the right...no, look again!
Who in the world thought that old one looked anything like Lucille Ball?!?! I bet in the dark ages, the sculptor would be executed if a king were portrayed so badly!

Drawn, quartered, and fed to the pigs.
I hope nobody paid for that orginal one. If ever you thought that government officials were art savvy at all...
The "Lowest Bidder" concept does not work in all situations.
But being "show business" related, perhaps the saying "Any publicity is better than no publicity" applies. The "Scary Lucy" debacle has certainly raised the visibility of Jamestown, NY, a small mouldering little city in the boondocks of NY State until Lucy died and sent her body (literally) and spirit back here. However, I keep wondering how long before the young'uns will ask "who's Lucy?" and the magic of that name dies out.
Oh, and the "aloud" misspelling... That's common around here. A sign on the door of my laudromat says "No Loitering Aloud", which I assume, means the local rabble can congregate but must be quiet about it. However, around here I rarely ever see a reversed "N" which I noticed frequently in Florida and the south. So at least we know our alphabet if not how to use it.
26 percents, is that a joke sale?

...earlier this evening (April 15th) I just received a "red flag" fire warning. This something more common between July and September..
...oh, and ended up having pizza for dinner tonight as well. Still difficult with the back pain, sciatica, and stiffness to stand and do heavy duty cooking.
Happy happy non-unbirthday day.
Non-complaint: Music to DAZ by. Rummaging through my music collection this morning and I stopped at "Balakirev" and decided to refresh my memory of his piano concerto #1. It's short, only 14 minutes. The Russian composers of the late 1800's were fond of music in minor keys. It starts with with a characteristic sort of sad or depressing introduction and about 1:10 minutes into it a primary theme emerges. The piano doesn't come in until about 3:10 and finally at 3:50 restates the sad theme. The music then turns more grandiose and pianistic. Later the primary theme returns with a more hopeful but still sad longing. The music ends on a glorious retelling of the sad theme but now resolved to resignation if not happiness.
This is not a piece commonly heard, but the sad theme is familiar to me as momentary background music in some movie I've seen somewhere in the last half century.

It's an evening meal possibly at places like these.
And a person having an evening meal at one of those places would be a diner having dinner at a diner. Unless you're around Erie, Pennsylvania and extreme western NY State where the establishment is more likely to be a "dinor". (Hey, I've already established that we can't spell around here.)
