Edit Why is it so hard for me to read without my glasses on?

It's a conspiracy involving opticians, publishers and computer monitor manufacturers to promote sales of reading glasses. The printed text and image on the computer monitors is intentionally blurred, only to be read with the said reading glasses. It reached my neighborhood around 5 years ago, so far I have been able to cheat them out of income by buying my glasses at the supermarket at around 5USD/pair.

I did a search for a Loki background for my phone. I found this one. I thought that the dragon looks like it could have been by Daz?

...g2 had an androgynous body shape, with 3 and onwards they dropped it. Sadly GenerationX never was updated for G8 otherwise you could simply use that to load it in. Comes in handy for certain characters. I soemtimes use it tocreate male teens so I can use Skinbuilder3 and not deal with arm, chest, and leg hair that is often baked into male textures..

Complaint: One of the cats climbed on top of my husband's shoulders and started tapping him on the head, right up until his headphones fell. So of course, they broke. Sigh. We got a new pair, but this time I made him buy a warranty.

Two of my unfavorite things to do:  Install or resolve printer problems, and order cables.frown

I just bought a new HP color laserjet printer, and it had a very easy setup.  Install the app on the computers, install the app on the smart phone, and now everything can print to the new printer.

I did have to enter the network password, but I can pretty much do that by accident.  While sleeping.

And since it's wireless, there's only a power cable to plug in.  And I can put the printer ANYWHERE within range of my wifi network.

Is it also the size of a medium sized (european) refrigerator, weighs about 200lbs and doubles as a space heater like my HP Color Laserjet? cheeky

Why yes it is and yes it does.

But I don't have to do that unfun thing that LG's complaint is about.  Plus, by not being an inkjet printer, it never dries out or clogs up.

I can't always fix everybody's problems here in the complaint thread, but when I have a solution that actually works, shouldn't I share?

Rebooting the characters for films and television every so often is necessary because the actors age out. How many people have played:

    Superman

    Batman

    Sp[derman

    Hulk?

    And the list goes on.

Yeah, I've discovered the joy of wireless printing and freedom from cables.yes  I've found that HP and EPSON have relatively easy and thorough automatic installation and web support sites.  But some of the other brands, not so much.  I tore my hair out over an installation of a public printer for a library once.  The Brother brand has been my nemesis.angry  And it never fails that I am the relative called upon to resolve some problem with printing that other family members create.  I don't know what HP's printer installation software is doing during the half hour that it takes to do all of it's automatic installation tinkering but it generally works despite the unamusingly long time it takes.indecision

Currently my favorite brand is Epson.smiley  However, it has one flaw that hurt until I found the solution.  Apparently my Epson WF-7520 (two trays, handles 13"x19" paper), is picky about the type of photo paper it expects.  I had a bunch of top quality HP photo paper left from my last printer but everytime I tried to use it, I'd get scratches on the surface coming out of the Epson .  It appears that the clearances through the paper guide path or clearances of the printing head are a teensy bit thinner than HP high quality photo paper.surprise  But once I switched to Epson photo paper (similar quality), the scratches went away.  After five years I still have half a box of high quality HP photo paper left gathering dust on the shelf.sad

:D Yes! It should, at any rate. A few months ago, I accidentally washed a Bluetooth speaker eyemask that had a warranty. I was pleasantly surprised to see that water damage and drops/falls were covered even though the warranty was pretty cheap. Luckily, I didn't have to send the eyemask in. Letting it dry for two days before turning it on kept any of the electronics from breaking. But now I am a big fan of warranties for some items.

Thanks for the reminder! I need to make something for father's day too.

...thought that was last weekend.  Now I'm going to get bombarded with a bunch of Father's Day reminder emails near the end of the week.

Looks like it's time to set up another filter to reroute them from the inbox.

    Complaint:

"Deli Sliced" Cold cuts... When I buy cold cuts at a deli or even at the grocery store, I do not request the person cutting the meat to weave it into complicated mass of overlapping meat tapestry, why must the cold cut cartels format their sliced meat products in such a manner?

Probably because most people get frustrated and instead of trying to wrestle a couple of slices from the meat puzzle, they just get fed up and slap the whole thing onto the sandwich and are done with it.

    Megh.

You might be able to get around this by selecting the paper type in the preferences before printing.  Try premium matte, it's thicker.  But it may be much thicker than the hp paper.  I use the double sided matte to make greeting cards.  A little experimenting might find the right selection for your hp paper.  I've found that using Epson papers with Epson printers really is the best practice.

Complaint:  Fuzzy chined youths behind the counter at the movies who try to give me a good deal by packing 25% more popcorn into the bag.angry   Although I admit that it can be done by removing all that wasted airspace within each kernal, I've found that I like the whole kernals rather than extra crumbs.
