...as I use a trackball that is not so much an issue as entering text.

I actually had to use one of those ultra thin chiclet Mac keyboards that came out years ago. Hated it as there was no real "feeling" to the keys like a conventional keyboard had. I had to keep looking down at my hands most of the time than at the screen.

It's too bad the HP Sprout (see link below) uses a projection device attached to the vertical display to project the screen image onto the pad. Hence, the pad cannot be marketed as a standalone device for other systems. While it does have a dedicated GPU (nVidia GT745 with 2G VRAM), like other "all in one" systems it is limited in expansion capability (max memory of 16GB) and has a fairly mediocre PSU (350W).

It does come with a wireless keyboard but it's one of the chiclet types instead of having full weight keys (I imagine it would support a standard wireless keyboard and it also has 4 USB ports). Given it's limitations and specs, the 1,900$ price tag makes it more of an expensive toy rather than a useful workstation.

Bugger, getting so close to the "finger paint" concept for a CG workstation I've been dreaming of. Would be great for 3D modelling and 2D painting a long as the pad had tight enough resolution. Hopefully they aren't so short sighted that the miss this potential.

Looks like a good idea hey, not sure I want to draw straight onto a vertical screen it would do in my wrists like the Paintbox contraptions used to

More Warcraft dinos! This was a picture I had commissioned a friend to do some time back - a mischievous chibi-Malygos running off with an armful of cheese (I'll explain this later) and being chased by a cranky Devilsaur (Their version of a T.rex)

Better run quickly little guy, unless you want to end up inside that dinosaur xD

Heh, so this cheese thing... My friend and I were sharing some lighthearted fanart we had found, and I showed her this painting of Onyxia stomping through Stormwind accompanied by her whelplings who were engaging in all sorts of shenanigans, including one who was raiding the lunchbox of an engineer - and grasping a cheese wedge almost as large as itself.
This somehow spawned a fascination with little whelplings (As well as her pet raptor) having a fondness for cheese hehe.

I don't want breakfast until around 10 or 11. Until then I just drink lots of coffee. Drinking lots of coffee continues until I go to bed.

Another commission from the same friend as before :)

Lil Malygos with myself in T.rex-form, and Malygos using his arcane powers to.... Conjure chocolate chip muffins to eat. Yup, that's a constructive way to use his magic :p
Dunno where I got that massive cheese wedge though, maybe Maly made it with all that cheese he stole. (I... Think I've shared this pic before, but if so hey it's not a big deal right? ^^)

Also included is my rexie-self staring down some poor guy waiting at the bus stop. I'm assuming he's waiting for the bus. The anthro leopard is a character of mine I adopted because he looked cute :)

...I'm the same ay except with my arthritis texting is even more of a challenge. I usually end up inventing entirely new languages some of it even the Enigma Machine probably couldn't decode.

If you're a touch typist, then you would hate what HP and Dell are looking to foist on the public.. Computers with no more keyboards, just a touchscreen/pad. Now for 3D work it looks neat, but even I couldn't type anywhere near as fast or accurately as I do now (even given the key misfires I've been dealing with on the old notebook) on one of those compared to a "real" keyboard (I can still touch type with my left hand).

Does Windows support eye tracking? One of the prototype wearables here has look to point/select and and blink/double blink to click built in , iz real cool

But what if you blink because you just blinked? We naturally blink so many times per minute, without even thinking about it. Although I've read that we blink less when doing things on the computer, especially games.

Transfer all your money to this other account? (blink blink) Nooooooooo!

Ugh, the new store is irritating as Hell and checking out felt like I was in a Fischer-Price acid dream, but...

..I got some new duds for Mike! :cheese:

The Regency outfit + expansion came to just under $14, I have $25 in the bank and tomorrow is Payday.. so.. :red:

Maybe Mike will stop complaining that Vicky has 8 closets of clothes and he barely has 1 closet full. :blank:

Thinking about how Rachel is going to get back to New Orleans from San Francisco.. without Caitlin finding out.. :blank:

It's raining-been raining all day. So I can understand going slower than the posted speed limit. But driving 20mph in a 45 zone is not safe, especially if you are hogging the fast lane. With Fiancé home sick, I went a bit out of my way to a restaurant that we don't go to often and on my way back was stuck behind such person. I did finally managed to get around him and make it back to the office

Nope, no point in it.. don't spend that much at Daz now, and less as time goes on. Most of my spare cash goes into gourmet coffee, eBooks, or upgrading my music software.. buying sound banks for the 3 main synthesizers I use is as bad as buying content! :ahhh:

Really? You've bought a lot in the last three months. Add up what you've spent over three months. Then subtract from that what the items would have cost for a PC member. If it's over $24, then you are wrong. If it's considerably over $24, you've really lost a lot. The free items alone sometimes make up for the monthly cost.
