Booster shots are no joke.  Why did I take one the day before I move?

To prove your metal, that you are a strong proud warrior woman determined to fight the scourge of disease with every last fiber of your being and to never let on you are experiencing any discomfort!

Or you were conducting your own research into how the human body responds to booster shots for a possible submission of the resulting data in the form of a research paper as part an expansion of your Nobel prize winning study...

    Or bad timing.

Pick whichever or mix and match.

I'm going with Aliens... its always Aliens.

What goobledycrapt is going on with the freakin' forums... jeez... it's like every five minutes it crashes.

Poor Bert must be having a bad day.

That and the "There was an error performing your request, please try again"... ugh...

...complaint, wondering if there was  a sickout at the Safeway I shop at down the street. It was a busy day but only one check stand was open and the line to it went deep into one of the food aisles, many people with full trolleys of goods in the queue.  The line for self check (which I don't like to use as it always screams  I'm doing something wrong and it's screwed me on coupons before) was even longer.  Took  around 20 min until they finally opened a second lane, just as I got up to the one I was waiting for.

Was wondering if I was in Portland or Petrozavodsk.

It's Yom Kippur, so some folks may have taken the day off... or the West Coast Safeway Strangler may have gotten them... probably Yom Kippur though, as I just made up the West Coast Safeway Strangler... it could a thing though... the strangler, not the Jewish holiday... that I'm pretty sure is real... Unless I transposed El Malagueña, the made-up Spanish-Jewish holiday mentioned in Biloxi Blues.

...Portland OR is a city of primarily hipsters (who have no "special" day of their own), vegetarians/vegans, Goths, anarchists, and has a large LBGTQ community.

Unless it was World Vegetarian Day (which was on the 1st), All Hallows eve (later this month), Guy Fawkes Day (which is the 5th of next month), or Pride Day (28th of June) doesn't make sense why the store would be would have been so understaffed on what is usually one of their busier days of the week (last day for the current week's coupons).

...mistakenly put them on while I was on Google only to immediately take them off again and stash them in the back of a drawer.  Crikey, you would think pop up adverts are bad.  Ended up buying 69.09$ worth of groceries including a 3# pack of thick sliced pepper bacon (thankfully, Safeways here in Oregon don't sell booze like they do in California and Washington State).

My usual market trip is around 30$.

    I'm suffering from a lack of imagination, writer's block, and artist's block. It's a p.i.t.a. because I thought I was over this.

I hope those shaders work... Oh... My computer has just randomly restarted... And now my laptop is playing up.

Urgh... I think I'll go back to my Sudoku :/

Motivation block is another matter though... :(

What I am trying is to set a timer and try to write as much as I can in that period.  It might help my motivation.

I am using hotspot data via my phone but my internet is so slow.  I decided to wait until this place has wifi before attempting to download Sims 4.

I don't work well with prompts. I never have. It's one of the reasons why I can't/don't do commissions. I normally get bored and get an urge to add... a Pikachu (or something) to an image (well, that's how it was back in school ^^' ).

Well, I've got one render under my belt. Although I'm not sure where to go from here... Sorting morphs, I guess. :/

Depends on the individual, but shouldn't be more than a day or two tops.  Was about a day for me personally.

Older people and people with other health concerns can have it last loonger. I felt blah for about 3-4 days after my last booster.

I'm trying to work out whether I should renew my Daz+ membership. The Daz+ sale is the best time to renew it... But... I don't know... Right now, I have plans to take the "Tabby Terror" to the vets tomorrow. I just don't understand how Mum can be so complacent. And for the second time in a year, why do I feel that I'm the only person taking this seriously.

Speaking of the "Tabby Terror", he brought down the net curtain in the frontroom. The pole is bent, and missing the ends, so replacing that will be an extra expense. Plus, he ended up falling off the curtain rail above. He landed on his feet, but it was still a pretty high fall.

Welp. I've finally caught up with my messages. I'm sick of Youtube. I'm fed up of sorting morphs. My DA page will never be sorted... And this film is total poop.

I did an online survey thing that was for $11, but due to some technical issue, they couldn't use what I submitted.  Therefore I didn't get the $11.

Also I am on the phone with my cell phone company complaining that the extra I paid for the high speed hotspot data was a waste and I didn't get high speed data via hotspot.

edit: Things are messed up but hopefully fixed soon.  I am supposed to be getting netflix but I am not.

Our cat recently managed to destroy my printer.I thought it would be too heavy to knock that thing off a dresser, but it happened. And we too have had curtains destroyed and at least one destroyed curtain rod. I think this is considered an acceptable amount of property damage for a cat.

I don't know the particulars here, but I'm still going to say this... Be super careful about online surveys, especially ones offering rewards... Unless its a company you do business with and you can confirm the survey is by them or for them (like with DAZ, where they often announce a survey or you can confirm a survey through the forums) you should never bother to take any surveys online... the potential for scammery is so widespread and pervasive that while there are many companies that still are legitimate, they are so outnumbered by fraudsters that the rewards for legitimate surveys hardly ever outweigh the risks... and the methods for luring people in to phish them or deliver malware to them do usually include the promise of monetary compensation of some sort... store gift cards, percentage off at famous name stores, etc... I know you aren't naive about this sort of thing, so I genuinely hope you were dealing with a legitimate survey company and there was a real problem with your reward and that you weren't being set up for something... I've seen some pretty good fakes and some that managed to infiltrate some pretty big websites that probably should have been immune to that sort of 90s grade nonsense.
I know this is all unsolicited advice, but not all of the scammers are lazy and targeting 90 year olds who aren't good at the internet.

Not only that, but if it's a legitimate survey company, but a cut-rate one or one that has lax security, by engaging with them you are confirming you are a customer of the company they are doing the survey for, so when they get hacked you are now on the list of people to send legitimate looking emails to so the scammers can phish info from.

You don't really want your data exposed any more than it already is.

I agree, McGyver!  So many of these things are around these days.  Especially on social media like Facebook.  And it seems like people who should know better are happy to jump in.  I see it all the time.  Little "fun" things that ask what was the top 40 tune when you were a teenager?  Now they know about how old you are.  What's your favorite color?  Your first pet's name?  You first car?  Street you grew up on?  Now they have answers to some security questions that are asked when signing up for certain financial sites.  The more info they get from you, the easier it will be to steal your identity.  And people are all too happy to help them spread these things around, doing the scammers' work for them.  Because it's a "fun questionaire".

If one does fall for one, it's small consolation to know that one is not alone... Here in Finland the whole town counsil of one of the largest towns here fell for one, when an entrepreneur promised to build the europe's largest car dealership, a regular super market for cars in there, with the financing coming from a widow of an african president... There are no 'smilies' to describe the expression I had on my face when I heard about it the first time.

Well, there's the biggest clue right there... You should only except such offers from Royalty... anything less is definitely a scam.

I'm still waiting for the King of Australia to send me my check... but he's the King, so I know he's good for it and he won't let me down.
