I for one hope for a product release delay as I won't have the money saved up for a Victoria 9 Pro Bundle until late next week if all goes well. Well, I guess it won't matter if the release price is same as the presale price. I don't particularly want to wait a few months for it to go back on sale again.
I'm not exactly sure why anyone would be perplexed over it considering how often Genesis characters are used for nude renders... whether artistic, erotic or outright porn. I'd wager the folks who do at least some nude renders outnumber the folks who don't. I mean considering how common consumption of "adult material" is all around the world and the fact that 3D art is rather safe way to explore even more questionable fantasies, you would be hard pressed to not see such use being common. There are entire sites dedicated to 3D porn. Ergo, nipples talk.
I'm pretty sure most of the folks who are "perplexed" about this actually realize it but for some reason are still perplexed.
Well, stuff like pin-ups with see through or wet clothes that partially conceal or just reveal the shape of breasts and nipples are more erotic than porn. Full nudity can also be erotic rather than porny. You know, more of a nip slip material than "look at me fondling myself or having a sexual intercourse" stuff! Stuff that leaves some room to imagination. Actually I'd argue you can also have depictions of porn without full nudity. I guess it's more about if it's meant as a spank material or not and that probably depends on the person viewing the image.
By comparison artistic nudes are ones where the main point is not eroticism - though they can be erotic to some, I guess. For example an image of a naked woman breastfeeding is probably viewed more artistic than erotic.Similarly David (the statue) is artistic rather than erotic even though it displays genitalia.
Now I could easily imagine a situation where a render of David statue could turned into erotic (i.e. alter the pose and expression) or to porn (I'll leave this to your imagination seeing that it's probably against forum rules...)
Specifically, it depicts his genitals retreating into his body because he's so afraid.
So good to see, that G9 has more realistic proportions right out of the box.

OK, so, where is she? It's Mid October, and I'm not seeing anything indicating when Victoria 9 or Genesis 9 will be available. I've seen one post about a merchant resource set being hilariously overpriced, but nothing else.
As the version of DS needed was released late last week I would suggest we might see her this week.
Mid-october covers everything from early-October to late-Ocotober, it doesn't mean October the 16.5th (fifteen-and-a-half days into the month).
LOL today' webinar convinced me to pre order Genesis 9 and the price just went up to $111 again :P

Just reading the page "This product is specifically for our Published Artists." So are Daz going to be releasing Body morphs and head morphs like past figures?

Those are for PAs and we've been told they don't pay that price. I guess that price is to scare non-PAs away from those assets to buy to corresponding user assets that will be available later.
It's a "don't buy these" indicator ;-)

The indicator price/scare non-PAs thing works. I just hope they'll be releasing similar morph packages for us non-PAs (like they have done with the beginning of past, new Genesis generations).

That is really weird definition of "mid". At least here it means around 15th - give or take a few days. Certainly not from early October to late October. That would be within October. Anyhow, not that this affects me in any way but just wanted to point out how weird it sounds.
Well, it was my definition not Daz', but I would take the first ten days as early, the next ten as mid, and the last ten as late.
i would imagine like Richard that Daz will interpret mid-October in it's broadest sense... and lets face it you wouldn't be surprised if they pushed it beyond any reasonable definition!

Personally I am happy it did not show up this weekend. Things happening on weekends have a tendency to be problematic and very few people working means more unhappy persons ... Just my opinion, of course.
