    No smoke is going out of my poor CPU ventilation system, but 'Habemus renderam' laugh

    [INFO] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.0   IRAY   rend progr: 88.25% of image converged
    [INFO] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.0   IRAY   rend info : Device statistics:
    [INFO] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.0   IRAY   rend info : CPU: 3817 iterations, 15.469s init, 28787.490s render

    surprise

    I may have gone a bit further if I didn't made an error when I set the time limit before going to sleep: I though I set it a 7 hours, but it was only 5… I did 3 hours more since, in 1 hour increment with a bit of downtime to let my poor CPU cool down a bit (thankfully, even with the ventilators at full speed, it is not too noisy) but going all the way to 95 % of the image converged may have added 3 to 4 hours of rendering time, while the current result felt good enough.

    Anyway…

    ‘The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?’

    Upon hearing Lacey, Victoria’s heart missed a beat but her smile grew bigger on her face.

    How far did the both of them went since that day at the swimming pool?

    (Narrator note: a bit less than 11,000 km and they have towel props now!)

    She answered back: ‘It’s true, isn’t it?’

    The products list is on the gallery, and it's a short one. I chose that environnement (from another site) because it was cheaper than Japanese Onsen available here, at Daz even if it look really good. It's too bad, it was on sale before I decided on the topic of my render, it's currently back on sale, but was not when I worked on the project crying

    Fun fact, like the previous projet, towels were also a problem during this project, up until I learned it was possible to copy-past textures from one surface to another, combining the GF2 freebie model with a paid product textures smiley

    A lovelly serene image Elor - your poor CPU did not suffer in vain :)

    Nice work on copying the textures across from another asset - I always like it when I can learn something from doing a render so sometimes these little challenges are actually just opporuntites in disguise!

    Oh, and yes, missing the right time to grab an asset at the best price can be annoying. We'll have to tune our wishlists for African, Russian and Brazillian assets in preparation for the next three months.

    Oh that is wonderful Elor ... and thanks for the heads up for Japanese Onsen ... it is now on my wish list!  grrrrrrrrr... I was just starting to get my list down... lol.  Hope you gave your CPU a loooooooooong rest... it deserves it.  Well done!

    Well, it's also a good reminder for me to take my own advise too! Probably will be OK for Africa in general, whether that will stretch to Nigeria or not I will have to check. The other two may be a bit more tricky - although Moscow is going to be tricky for several reasons.

    I'm still working on Japan!  I may have something for Moscow... I'll check later... yeah.

    Got mine done...

    Best thing I'd love to do in Tokyo... is EAT FOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!  Love Japanese food almost as much as Chinese.. Of course I've read there are lots of little nooks and cranny's down the side streets where one can get some unusual delicacies.  ;)

    I am not sure if it fits the month, but i got no time left to do anything particular. (probably more chinese than japan)
    And i admit, i do not know the precise rules for entries. I found your place too late.
    However, i had an old render lying around. Very early one. From December last year.
    It does lack in a lot of departments.
    Therefore i decided to do some quick post-work with photoshop to fix a bit of the poor lighting.
    And i had to cut some parts, as, back then, i failed to place a proper background. In the right back corner, parts were still transparent.
    Just thought i post it to support your efforts to arrange/manage a challenge.
    Inspirational picture added. It came from the "Tiger and Dragon" movie

    best regards,
