    Testing Facegen's ability to make various ethnic faces. I'm pretty pleased.

    This is 'old east asian man' face with Lee 6 skin

    He doesn't look particularly old, but that's driven a lot by HD and texture stuff.

    Because its part of a much larger scene, only a small bit of it was going to end up visible, and thats a shame because, I mean, look at those trees rocks and hills. Thats all modeled, the sky is the only thing thats a flat imge. I sculpted those rocks by hand (okay its only one rock the rest are scaled and rotated duplicates). That grass, the leaves and the very background trees are all instances which blender handles beyond well (studio cant really do 12000 instances, I've tried) the whole thing used only about 250mb of memory (it helps that there are only about 4 textures in the entire image)

    Good thing its "unfinished" otherwise there'd be gasp! nudity

    Lindsey Buckingham in one thread this week and Nigel Harrison another. Really like the expression, looks very forlorn.

    Here's George in G2M form! I thought about adding a bunch of other young things for him to play pool games with, maybe next time.

    So that's George morph transferred to G2M, Bellatrix skin, Anagenessis with a lot of tweaks, Greek Baths, and my WTP Green Sea shader.

    And a bottle from the 'Wine Me' product with some tweaks for Iray.

    There's just so many layers of wrongness to this image, and the fact that it's so well done just makes it all the more wrong.

    Great render, but now I need to go wash out my eyes with soap, or gasoline or something. yescrying

    More experimentation. Trying to master getting decent nasolabial folds to really get certain characters. This has... lots of stuff, including Genesis ethnic morphs (Asian Male B) transferred to G2M, nasolabial fold free thing someone gave in Product requests, and a bunch more.

    Oh, that's very nice, Serene. I love how the blonde's hair and skin came out. And the room they're in, with all the little cluttery details make it look lived in. And the starry sky out the window is so pretty.

    I just love the whole image. Very well done.

    Owen looks so good in that armor of suit :P  Either Boyd looks scared or is either cold from Owen's suit of armor heh.

    I really like the christmas cookie image! Very cute, and Daddy is hot and I like the atmospheric glamor glow and warmth of the pic.  I've been trying to think of something to do with those cookies we received as a freebie but haven't come up with anything yet- but will soon.

    Yeah, Boyd is worried about Owen. Owen is an infantryman and is being deployed again and the war is not going too well.

    I've been busy with non-3D stuff for the past several weeks, but I finally had the time to work on my Raining Men entries. Only have the one done, but I thought I'd share it in a couple of places. Here, especially.

    Temptation

    Temptation, by L'Adair

     

    I had a tough time coming up with a title. My favorite "I'd better not" title was Another Bad Boy With A Big Sword. (Almost as iconic as Naked Vickie In A Temple With A Sword...!) He wasn't supposed to be a tempting hunk, though. But the hellish lighting soften the expression on his face, making him look more passionate than angry. So, Temptation it is... 'Cause who can resist the lure of the bad boy? Even if his reptilian eyes glow red in the dark! lol

    ...I remember there was some sort of flying machine here in the store that used Bethesda Software's Daedric.

    I have no idea. The writing was part of the original texture: Rare Ancient Weapons and Poses. (Though the emissive flames are my own.)

    I'm still learning how to produce convincing skin. This one looks much too dry. 3Delight render.

    Modern room (changed color), Genesis 3Male, Real Hairy from Genesis 2 male added, Dax hair, Modern Bed with Deco Bed texture, photo background.

    I hope I've got enough of him covered with bedstuff that the picture can stay.

    Thanks! I posed everything myself this time.  I've decided to try my hand at making men's pose sets. That is one of the sets I hope to make. Guys at the seashore. (Sorry ladies, you already have tons more content than the guys do) I have to figure out how to pose props to include for the sets. I have a friend advising me but I have a lot to learn.

    The water is from Nudist Island over at Rendo by Oskarsson. I don't know why it is called that, but it makes some of the best water and renders fairly quickly in iray.

    I really love your glasses and the romantic pose! Those look nice! I love a good romantic portrait.

    Thanks for the link! The writing is cleverly concealed in the promos, must've been how it actually made it to the store, if it's really Tengwar.

    Good render, made a face that doesn't look typical. I'll have to add that Santa Suit to my other 2 Santa suits.. It's very good.

    thanks! I like this Santa suit the best so far of the ones I own. I wish it had a belt with belt loops because the waist is unfinished looking. But the boots and fur are really quite nice.

    Oh my goodness! You have now given me a slightly naughty (but if I do it right, also nice) idea with that one. Too run ragged right now to try it but maybe when the lunacy drops to a more reasonable level and I am sufficiently caffeinated -- or eggnogged ;-) -- I'll see what I can do. Surely I've got a Santa hat somewhere in my runtime. A box, a bow, a few feet of rope and I ought to be all set.

    Or maybe a mistletoe ... Happy Christmas, Merry Holidays To All!
